That's the spirit guys... I saw that post mins. after he posted and logged out and I felt, what a sad chapter to resort to that state... so for that sweet slap on one's left cheek...aawww, I ain't been slapped since my teeny bopping days by a Kiwi lass back then... feels good to reminisce....

The fact of the matter is, we can digest the edge and limits as this gradually unfolds.... and it hurts no more with a slap or two from any lifer we get to hear , just try to understand them for what really is devouring their guts since then and to put up with most turning the waves and resounding elated and relieved but will feel alot more at ease with a correct closure of why, who actually and perhaps, just a weebit of good fortune, some left to spill and share with the the good hearts from the Malaysian Authorities...

I or both our combine accounts, are not counting on it but I know, there are many more out there that deserves at least something to bring comforting closure for them too.

True enough - maybe I should've said not long till September when it all starts... could well take months more for the final truth to be heard.

Not to get anyone's hope up too much. The trial will only deal with how certain transfers of money ended up in the Marsdens personal bank accounts from the Picpay/PIPS accounts.

The courts are not the least interested in what PIPS was and if there was a source for the 2% a day. You'll still have to use your common sense for that, I'm afraid.

One thing you can bet your bottom dollar on, the Marsdens have not and will never lose any sleep over the thousands of people they played for fools; but I bet you their slumber will get challenged well as the court case gets cranked up to a high prosecuting notch and sentence times come into view. We've all got front row seats to their Karmavision show.

Take this number: $10,455,500.00, which was provided by the courtesy of flockstar, and multiply it by just 80,000. Don't want to be accused of inflating the numbers (just think if it was 200,000) and tell us what you get. Then tell us again how BM has all this money just waiting for all of the PIPSters. By the way, you will have to get a really big calculator as your hand held won't calculate that high.

I left this forum alone for some months now, due to a mass of dissappointments, so guys and dolls what is the chances of us getting any return on our investments? I see the trial starts in September? Can anyone tell me what our chances are?

Hi Caroline,it all depends on the Malaysian Authorities.The chances are not good as we are all unsecured creditors.I agree with MrDome,the case is only concerned with the transfer of funds. No concern for overseas investors or refunds.

Hi Caroline,

Further to what Dreamer has said, the probability is that there was basically no money left anyway. It had all been spent on Bistros/fashion houses etc, paid out to members, and paid out to Bryan Marsden. In this case, any little that is left is unlikely to be returned to members but would be gobbled up by the authorities to cover costs.

The alternative is that there are tens of billions of dollars floating around, and after he has been cleared of many counts of money laundering, everything will return and we'll get the millions we're owed.

The trial in September may answer some questions, but this is more concerned with the money laundering, not the pips operation per se. As the two go hand-in-hand, we hope to get some answers.

We are sending our moderator, TheBat$ to cover the trial in person, as the local press has lost interest in the case.
