Thread: ATTN ALL MEMBERS - Distribution of Bryan & Sharon trial information

Firstly my thanks to "the Bat" for his endeavours on our behalf, given the difficulties he has been experiencing under the vagaries of some health problems and the Malaysian legal system.

Upon reading some of the most recent posts it is good to see that RolClub has continued to provide (and I hope will continue to do so) former Pipsters with the opportunity to speak out and put the position that we were all taken in by a smooth talker and operator and will never see a cent of out hard earned, but enough of that even though I think that it is true.

I hate to rain on anyones parade but I doubt that we will get any satisfaction out of the Malaysian Court proceedings anyway as the proceedings are about money laundering in Malaysia.

The proceedings are not about the manner in which moneys were or were not invested that we lent to BM through joining up and lending /investing ? sufficient funds to PIPS through PicPay its administrative/banking arm to initially buy as a start up a minimum 25 units@ US$25.00 in PIPS.

Those of you who joined up in 2005 may have retained documentation which revealed that when you joined PIPS you were joining a Panamanian registered Company named ;

This as I understand it was in part to create a way by which Malaysians could be involved in PIPS as this was not possible under Malaysian law.however it may also have been the achilles heel for BM.

As to the Malaysian legal proceedings as they are not directly about how PIPS was administered as to investment as I see it we will perhaps only get limited information out of them.

The questions I would like to see answered are as follows;

a. How much money was in the PicPay /PIPS bank accounts or alternatively funds capable of being traced if invested when the Malaysian authorities seized the computer records and rendered PIPS incapable of conducting any PIPS business, that is if any was being conducted at the time this occurred.

b. Does any money exist now and if so where is it which PIPS members could legally lay claim to.

c. What is the current state of the PIPS/PicPay data base.

Good salient points you have raised however, I am just as sure and certain, for such precise information to obtain prior to the final closure of the trial on the Marsdens, it will only be made "as complete as possible" from and by the Malaysian Authorities alone and that goes as far as they can uncover through all documented facts gathered. Taking facts from third parties including random posts remains speculated apart from factual gatherings our Batty recovers and reports back with each court presence he attends and that again to be honest, is limited but far more than sheer speculation from other sources.

Points "b & c" remains beyond anyone's grasp or knowledge to provide a clear statement unfortunately, at this present state.

I recall in an earlier post I posted perhaps last year about the need to get access to the transcript of the court proceedings. That would give us an insight into what if any information arising out of the Court proceedings can be used to inform members of the true position of PIPS and its remaining funds.

Perhaps "the Bat" could make inquiries with the Court officers as to whether or not it is possible to gain access to the transcipt of the proceedings and if so what it requires to do so. However unless the transcript is in english it will be difficult for those of us with english langauage skills only to get any information from this and we would have to rely upon those members who speak Malaysian to be informed.

It would also make it easier on "the Bat" to report back to us.

Hi BaaBaa,

Just like to point out that at the moment there is no action so a transcript at this point is not worth taking however once the trial goes into full swing then a transcript will be good. Still it will be in Malay as all the proceedings are in Malay. I speak Malay and will relay the news as usual.

As is the case from the very start, and fortunately we made that decision from the beginning to agree and appoint the assignment to our Moderator who fortunately, is our best person to undertake the task and has till now, qualified himself beyond our expectations in keeping up with all necessary details and we see no change nor expect any change to that course, our full confidence remains with Batty to acquire the information as was set out albeit from a Malay (National language) transcript or a translated version when issued by the authorities, whichever.

I also like to take this opportunity to thank our supporting member for her promised gesture to donate to help with the Fund in sustaining Batty's efforts covering the Marsdens Trial.

thanks for the header there Lynn... I think it now needs to be revised appropriately and the "soon" does seem a looooong way off since....

Just a question, but was wondering if most current threads regarding the PIPS saga could be listed first in the list of threads? I think it would make it easier for those who have not visited in a long time to find the most current information regarding PIPS, the trial, the donations, etc. Just a thought, and not sure if it can be done or not.

I will be closing this thread and a string of others as well that are rather repetitive and only leads to confusion and disarray for returning members wanting to trace or track related posts concerning the current development some call it a stupid saga, a farce and even a silly & endless waste of time, well whatever anyone feels opinionated by their individual viewpoints or argument, the Trial on the Mardsens is NOT over and far from closure hence, a main sticky thread will cater to that attention

Any further new threads open just for the sake of an individual's ignorance to the progress surrounding the Marsdens or the Trial or anything else on PIPS or PicPay and all the parties involved will find their newly created thread deleted. Issues related to the past and further back in the past, will be posted in the above thread, click that and stay there with your submitted posts please. This is a start of some pruning and spring cleaning on the PIPS related Forum.
