The rates are listed on Kuwait site for 10/22 and iraq's rates haven't changed there. They still show the same as last week.

What about the file on the history of Exchange rates on the cbi site, that is only updated to the 16th October.

Will the CBI have an auction today on Sunday do you think?

The 793 daily currency auction was held in the Central Bank of Iraq day Thursday 2006 / 10/ 19

Prior to this it said,

The 790 daily currency auction was held in the Central Bank of Iraq day Sunday 2006 / 10/ 15

which means there were probably auctions 790, 791, 792 & 793, although not all published.

The history shows the 16th (monday) with no market price

I suppose CORY didn't get "caught up" on this thread before posting about auction 793.
Things get a little confusing sometimes, I understand, but I figured
that since CORY posted this shortly after my post on page 14 that
it was undertood that I was talking about auction 793 from the "19th"
and that by CORY saying to hit refresh, I took it as something new (since my last post) had happened
when in reality CORY was reporting 793 as news it seems.

(note: not bashing, or being rude, just straightening this out incase it
gets confusing for anyone)

I doubt that they have even had one since monday the 16th. The 19th was a Thursday, and their website didn't come back online until Friday the 20th (their weekend while the Bank is closed).

Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies welcomes the agreement Mecca and send a letter to the Secretary-General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference to thank him for his efforts in reaching this agreement

The President of the House of Representatives, Dr. Mahmoud Almshahadani Mecca agreement between the authorities and religious leaders representing all Iraqi sects and ethnic groups in Iraq. to stop the drain of blood and forbidding fighting between followers of different sects and the sanctity of heresy each other and advocacy to promote national unity and religious.

He described Dr. Almshahadani agreement as a significant and important step to contain the tension and sectarian tension and achieving stability in the country and called on all the sons of the Iraqi people and its political and parliamentary blocs in the House of Representatives to support and commitment to its terms and provide an appropriate atmosphere for success.

D has sent. Almshahadani letter to the Secretary-General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, Mr. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu in which he expressed support for the agreement and its thanks and appreciation to the Organization of the Islamic Conference for the blessed initiative to bury sedition among Muslims in Iraq and contribute to the stability and commended the efforts of the Secretary-General, Mr. oglu Dr. in the forty-maturing and the success of the initiative and looked forward to further support the organization and help to the Iraqi people and to contribute to overcoming the terrible plight and restore them and restore pioneer civilizational role between the Islamic peoples.

He praised Dr. Almshahadani in his endeavors Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz for the promotion of unity among the various sects of the Iraqi people and his concern for the unity and stability of Iraq and thanked the government and people of the Kingdom for hosting the meeting, The following is the text of the letter :

Having expressed my appreciation Aal of the Organization of the Islamic Conference to the blessed initiative aimed at Wade sedition among Muslims in Iraq and the promotion of national unity and religious and contribute to the stabilization of the situation in their country ... I look forward to the continued support and assistance to the Iraqi people and to contribute to overcoming the terrible plight and restore them and restore pioneer civilizational role between the Islamic peoples.

I just wondered, because on the history of exchange rates they do normally put on an auction on a Sunday.
