Default look at "history" the plot thickens

This is the history after the 10/19 auction was posted
Last auction was 10/16 according to history, AND there was no market price for that auction.

If you look at the other auctions in history, there is no other auction w/o a market price.

also, on the auction page, it shows the 19th above, and the 17th below, dont ever remember seeing two different dates
before like that, they always matched.

Heres what it says: "The 793 daily currency auction was held in the Central Bank of Iraq day Thursday 2006 / 10/ 19 so the results were as follows : "

"Daily price Bulletin buying and selling Tuesday 2006/10/17 "

Also worth noting: October of 2005 the rate was 1470 from the 9th through the 30th

    1. Cash amounts sold to the bank and its customers were USD(32.495.000) at a rate of(1470+1+10=1481)IQD\USD .
    2. The amount sold to make transfers abroad was USD (13.420.000) at a rate of (1470-2)+ one dinar as a bank fee and exempt the transferred amount from conversion fee.

    History Exchange Rates

Isn't it also odd to have both of these prices the same???Not sure.

Also, they have the same price for Tuesday as it was on Monday, for what it's worth.

In spite of the high prices. Markets Kut witnessing high demand for buying of Eid
    Abdel Jabbar Safrani
    Wasit - (Voices of Iraq)
Usually markets in Kut in the Wasit governorate active movement prior occasions holidays offer families on their shopping and purchase the necessary special clothing and luxuries for children and the ugly of it all.
The markets are in the city these days, high demand for Mtbdhaina of Eid although prices increased significantly from what it was before this time. This is normally used by shop owners to impose varying increases in goods and the needs to handle. However, all this has not Inma families from associating with the market, shopping for Eid.
She said Ms. Muhammad or a teacher and mother of three children News Agency (Voices of Iraq) Independent : "We are feeling the market before the holidays usually for the purchase of the necessary supplies that we need, whether of family members or of the house."
She added, but the most important thing we buy in such events is the children's clothes to feel joy and taste of the holidays, and because the material is difficult and high prices do not think we started ourselves in the process of buying only sparingly.
It added that the market these days is severely overcrowding and the active Mtbdhaina despite the apparent rise in prices, particularly prices of clothing in general and children's clothing in particular.
The Umm Mohammed, said that the dollar trousers boys currently ranges between 10 to 17 thousand dinars, regardless of origin after the price was between 7 to 10 thousand dinars, about a month ago.
It added that the rate of recurrence of the shirt or shirts of between 8 to 12 thousand dinars after it was sold at a reasonable price ranges between five to five thousand seven hundred dinars, as well as the case of the shoes.
He said that the covering of one child not less than 50 thousand dinars in all cases when we know that the child wants to buy everything, even if he had typed such as stocking, and the belt at hand and eyeglasses until it became a fashion among children.
She noted that the House needs to the Iraqi special requirements other mild festivals and weddings Khalaoui, juices, Almatibat, materials used in manufacturing Alclejeh (cookies holidays) is something that can not be dispensed with when the majority of homes.
It considered those things were just need to housewives on the needs of children, She pointed out that these materials had a share of clear and significant increases in prices because most were related to the Eid season.
Samira says, or Hassanain, a housewife that the majority of what exists in the market now is foreign goods, while it did not find local goods except minor matters is below the required level.
It added that the prices are too high especially for the low-income but what is done about it, Holders stores they claim are goods of foreign and imposed duties, taxes and freight charges, as well as rent and other justifications that we hear constantly.
She said, "before a month from now, the price of a suit Albenati of between 18 to 25 thousand dinars, but the price today reached 40 thousand dinars, which is burdening the Iraqi family."
The dollar equals 1473 Iraqi dinars.

However, "despite the apparent jump in prices, but there is a growing demand to buy clothes, especially children, which recorded the highest rise in prices compared to other clothing."
Supported Salah Makki (earner) by saying that the prices of clothes, especially adult men has not been a rise in the price often seems the only one that maintained the old prices or less recorded rises.
He added that the price of the save advantages of between 13 to 25 thousand dinars a month ago as quality and the price has not changed now.
He pointed out that some of the shopkeepers of men's clothing draped commented indicate a discount in the price by 20 to 40%, on the occasion or what is known Baltanzelat. These stores alone rose slightly by the previous price discount that they have developed.
He said the method followed to win the customer often resorted to what he called the (owners débrouillardise) of the shopkeepers.
Asha noted that the Iraqi individual generally affected by such appearances, but just publicized a virtuoso at work.
A cream Zamili the owner of a clothing store in the male clothing market Ratov competent men in Kut dissenting opinion on the subject of cuts, or the so-called back saying that the fact that we adopt always.
He said, "resort to style cuts at the end of each season to dispose of old goods and the purchase of others cope with the season." It is here the summer or winter season.
He pointed out that the important observation is that the cuts proposed by the owners of stores currently have the only summer clothes to sell because of the oncoming winter season.
He added : I adopted this method but frankly some citizens do not feel that adding that the existing winter clothing now sold at a price much more than the summer.
The rise in prices is nothing secret during the holiday seasons, or as the start of the academic year, for instance.
He ruled that it will be to win the rich at the expense of ordinary citizens, "but the increase originally stems from wholesalers in Alcheorgh We are moving according to this type of deal, and not as some people imagined."
He pointed out that there is a clear demand in the shopping and buying of a particular method depends retail for the disposal of the goods to that after the holidays there is a deep recession in the market and throughout the period of stagnation is may be obtained on the remaining installments.
He said this method receive an increase of the original price, or what is known (loading rate).
The Abu Bassam a taxi driver preferred to be anonymous, there is a buy or without appropriate occasion, whether needed or not really needed, on the contrary, I am of this group because of my concern limited.
He added, "my concern according to the daily stipend, hardly fills the family worked (his predecessor) with me and other colleagues that my wife is involved in other predecessor with informers and knowledge to them.
He explained that this method was the most appropriate for him. He pointed out that the first advance for the purchase of part of the requirements of the academic year for children, and five daughters while two advance to complete the rest of supplies during the holidays.
He did not buy for all but the young were in the forefront, followed by adults.
He criticized the shop owners who take advantage of opportunities and occasions to increase prices at the expense of others.
He stated that he had bought a skirt of one of his daughters before a month from now, at a price of 12 thousand dinars, but today at the same store was sold at 17 thousand.
He pointed out that severe overcrowding and the large Almetbdhaina of Eid longer appropriate places because the merchant or the owner of the salon price they wanted, especially as most of the goods was about to expire and the time remaining for the holidays has become very short.
