Hi friends,

Some of you enjoy reading this as well as the pictures and I aim to please. Sorry about the limited pictures as I had a "walking stick" so it was a bummer when you're trying to take pictures. The thing with airports is they seem to be more longer with your aching feet than when you're well. It didn't help that the plane seem to be stuck at the farthest end of the terminal and I walked from one side to the other when going and disembarking.

Its a way of testing me or I've been a bad boy and now receiving some punishment. Anyways, the job is done and I am back now. Just like to make a comment on the court house system, it would seem that with so many court houses shouldn't it be good if they had some sort of central display akin to an airport sign which tells you the case number, who vs who and what court house to go to?

Nope, they had a noticeboard outside each courtroom like a whiteboard so they can stick the cases there. That means you got to know where to go from the summons or your lawyer and the ever important case number. That is one avenue that they could improve upon besides having a "golf cart" to drive around the courtrooms.

So without further ado, I present my "Bat$ day out" with pictures. Hope you like them and continue to support Rolclub.

For them to get out of jail on bail, they would have to meet bail requirements from both courts, not just one since there are two trials involved, and two separate set of charges. The only reason why they are still in jail at this time is because they have not been able to make bail. Had they done so, they would not have been in jail all this time. I did not say they "enjoyed" being in jail, I said they, not the authorities, are the ones keeping them there. If their attorney, and now the judge, would bother to show up instead of constantly asking for a coninutance in their cases, these trials would be over by now.

This notion that it is the authorities who are keeping them in jail is just not true. They had millions of dollars in their personal accounts, and much is still not accounted for of the total amount of monies put into PIPS. If they truly have money hidden away, they know they cannot touch it or it would no longer be hidden. So if they do have money hidden away, they have decided staying in jail is a small price to pay for having access to these monies later. I am not saying they do, but it is believed they do. I am merely providing an explanation as to why they may still be sitting in jail.

If they are truly innocent, as many of you believe, then why hasn't their supporters, friends or family come to their aid and posted bail? If I had a friend who was in jail, even if guilty of the charges and I knew it, I would still provide him bail money until his trial. Guilt or innocence has nothing to do with making bail.

The reason why their bail is so high is the courts deemed them a flight risk. Maybe those around them feel the same way too, thus why they haven't posted their bail. Now before anyone jumps to the conclusion I am saying this is why they haven't, I am not. It is just a possibility.

I agree with you that people don't enjoy incarceration. But in this case maybe they have no choice. I've been to almost every one of the hearing except the initial few and NEVER had I seen family members or friends turn up. I mean if my family member were on trial wouldn't I be there to give support and see how they were. Then the question of bail. The assets are frozen until they authorities account for the imbalance of the PIPS deposit and the balance that is currently in their personal accounts. So I hear that their respective families are quite wealthy, so would it difficult for them to come up with bail. Since it has been reduced to $450,000 each and if cannot free them both at least free the woman.

No, it has been nearly 2 years. Their lawyer has postponed their case upteenth times and the judges also has taken leave on a few occasions. Strange isn't it. Get a new lawyer to free you quickly, surely your family if cannot afford bail can afford to get you a lawyer. So we can come to only one conclusion, they are biding time and hopefully a sympathetic judge will lower the bail further and/or decide to free them on some technicality. Possible? I hope not but its possible..

Thank you for the report, the trial is so long drawn out, and requires stamina to keep one's interest; we have been waiting for years now so how long more is anybody's guess

Still, we must soldier on and see to the end, we all want to see the final outcome of this whole saga

Hello everyone. A very special THANK YOU to thebats$. you have not seen me on the forum for many a year??? I think. But it is awesome to be back. Who knows what will happen with our money in PIPS. Even if it has GONE!!!! for good, WE NOW HAVE THIS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC FORUM CALLED ROLCLUB which came about as a result of the whole pips thing, To all you old pipsters and all other "family" on rolclub, "KEPP THIS CLUB GOING UP THE LADDER OF MEMBERSHIP GROWTH. WE WILL BE THE BIGGEST AND THE MOST HONEST ON THE NET NOT LONG IN THE FUTURE. God Bless you all for now. see you not long.

We can all speculate all we want but reading between the lines, it is hard not to come to similar conclusions as you have.

As for them keeping themselves in Jail, what rubbish. IF they had ripped us off, then they'd have made quite sure to have funds stashed away to cover such eventuality.
