to LynnRE if the Marsdens assets are frozen, how can they make bail? If they could use the money then maybe, we would all get our money back. I just don't get it.Second part is would we get back the original investment or what that investment made over the period of time it had been invested. AT 74 I sure would like to be retired. I am sick of working.

The fact of the case as viewed "objectively" is, and that includes my own Bank transfer of real cash in Euro dollars, that was just under 20K then, not PicPay money, was when we were led to believe on "investing" as a loan into an operation with complex involvement and innovated by a man but actually, and as it turned out, a couple, being Sharon & Bryan Marsden, who were scheming somewhat illegally without a license and within a country that also is regulated by and with global financial Regulations which inevitably caught up with the heels of the Pips "visionair", Bryan as we are popularly & most comfortably associated with those hay day presence of him back then.

Now, however way one looks at it, as an aftermath, putting in or adding or just lending one's money to someone or some entity or operation, with or without knowing by innocent claims, still is considered as abetting or supporting an illegal operation, can get oneself into "hot soup" which also includes confiscation or for the better word, impounded by authorities, acting on discovery.

Hence, our loss but lets hope, the trail ends there and NOT being further pursued by the Malaysian authorities (something unworthy when more bucks are needed to ring in all foreigners involved) when the case is over with the Marsdens.
I cannot imagine what may be the situation for Malaysians still within the country but I think, as a calculated opinion, that is where the buck ends once the trial ends with it and all those, including those ex-Pips of Malaysian origin, will be spared as well from further misery.

I hope you have found something worthwhile to lean on since those early days and when it started to show the decline of the Marsdens success in gaining more money from more innocent victims.

The Bat$ predicted this trip would end in postponement, it did. Furhter more reliable and trusted source revealed to us that BM is trying to free his wife, SM but the authorities will not budge.

According to the source also, he told us that it was revealed that the authorities do not believe the balance BM has in the bank that was frozen is all the money he took. More is still unaccounted for. It is unconfirmed but the source thinks the local FBI will also look into the matter.

The authorities also know abt BM's convention in Hawaii, Langkawi and the Phillipines.

Looks like both Trial's are in August. Sent out Newsletter to all 38180 Rolclub Member's (Making us the 3rd largest Investment forum online),with the pips updates we have, due to hundreds of email's over past months with questions about the trials...

A big thanks goes to TheBat$ for going down there again and agian on behalf of Rc's Pips membership, and getting the updates for us, even if it must be very frustrating for him to travel 400km each way just to get to report that the trial was
postponed. We appreciate your hard work TheBat$. They cant keep postponing all the time, so you will soon get to report :).... I also hope you all, as our member seeking pips news can make a few good comments/feedback on the Free work TheBat$ does for us all. I guess it warms when someone does appreciate the work that is done for you all by TheBat$. Thank you friend for all your hard work...

Another big Thanks goes to those of our members that have participated inn our "PIPS FACT FINDING FUNDS" and made it possible for TheBat$ to travel to KL Court, and helped covering the costs he has had to now with traveling to the region and obtain the information...

I also hope more of our pips members reading this thread dont stay so silent.. Post your views. Its always nice to see our oldest
members returning and posting (even about the weather conditions :) )...

It is nice and sunny in Norway as well :)

I have been told that Bryan and Sharon are no longer in the official jail, but are locked in an appartment with guards outside. Is this correct?

I know Bryan and Sharon in person and want to know if they are allowed to have visitors?

Hi Topguy,

As far as I know, they're in jail. They were wearing prison 'fashion' when I last saw them. So it's not correct. For visitors, they should be allowed visitors. It's not like they're political prisoners or anything. A check with the prisons dept will give you the time you can visit them.

Hope that answers the questions raised.
