    Thank you for the pictures.
The sight of the Bistro is shocking.
How people can vandalize and turn such a place into a filthy wreck is very sad.
Why the doors were left open so this could happen is rather strange. Possibly done on purpose so the real estate value is very low?

Thanks a lot to Thebat! I have never been able to figure out hotel alarm clocks. Either they won't work or the buzz at the oddest times and then how to shut it off? Check out fast? LOL

    Hi all,

My guess is the doors were left open when the staff? creditors? angry pipsters? person or persons unknown looted the place of everything that was valuable or drug addicts pried open the door to seek haven for ther illicit fix. Either way, the property market here is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down judging by the lack of business and vacant lots. Except for maybe the front shops and the hotel. You can lie down on the street and I can safely gurantee NOTHING will hit you for quite along time. Except for maybe drug addicts and muggers.. heh heh.

Going of topic a little. FYI it was a panasonic radio alarm clock. It had 2 alarm settings and no clear indication of how to set the alarm. At 12 past midnight, maybe all my senses had shutdown for the night as I could only either adjust the time, make the radio come on or get no response!!!! Anyway, this is the first time I have seen a alarm clock in my hotel room (goes to show where I've been staying!) My last hotel had roaches remember, maybe those critters will wake you up in the morning! (Yeah right!)

Luckily for us (you members and me) I have an internal alarm clock that after years of practice wakes me up at the time I require. So it was really overkill to have an alarm clock. I managed a few hour of sleep and woke up at about 6am for breakfast.

I had beef bacon <---- I love bacon esp. pork ones which sadly is not available. Some "nasi lemak" with the bacon and a dollop of strawberry jam. Yes, with the rice and the bacon and the scrambled eggs. I had a cuppa tea which tasted of the pot it was in kinda metallic and I awaited my transport.

    I checked out after b/fast. Around 7.30am

Default Are y'all sure of the Trial Date???

At the BNM site it states hearings for Sept 10-11 and also Nov 26-30 which sounds more like a trial, 4 days instead of just 2????

The dates are as I reported. I am sure that was what the judge said as I was in the courtroom.

That's what I would have thought too.

Heyyy guys, ever considered.... there are more cases and crooks awaiting to be tried on that scheduled week??? Whatever it takes, 2 days or more...it is also subject to which and how many Magistrates are assigned and readily available.

For those who plan other alternatives to EGold, if you are in the USA, you can transfer to the Bank acccount easily and no costs are imposed, which is good for YOU and me... ok Big Brother, YOU EARNED enuf already...hehe.

Those that are outside the USA, using PayPal is the easier mode (provided you are in a country that approves PayPal) which then sees PayPal deducting a minimal fee (eg. USD$5 donated will arrive with USD$0,50 lesser) as charges deducted by PayPal. It cost nothing to lay idle in my PayPal account (mine is a Business Acct) but when I transfer it to the United States Bank, there will be costs incurred and charged to my account for transfer and conversion for the non-USD$ currencies.

With all currencies received in the PayPal account, there is a small fee charged & deducted by PayPal and some days needed for processing between PayPal to a US Bank, apparently shorter than between a US Bank to another US Bank.

So, I would recommend that you transfer US dollars instead when using PayPal. I would be charged for sending & converting other currencies before it lands in the USA Bank account. Thereafter, there is again the US Bank to overseas Bank charges for transfer to Malaysia for theBat$ to cash out which again will be borne in advance by theBat$ and subsequently be charged back to the Fund's accounting.

As far as I know from theBat$, Malaysia has still not approved PayPal traffic hence, any funds reaching him would have to be between Banks and that is now not a problem anymore but costs & fees remain without question, unfortunately.

Please bear in mind, your donation has to take into account of these inevitable incurred costs taking place...all tracked and validated at a price... however I still remain a firm supporter on this method, which is why I can also concede, Egold can in circumstantial cases, serve better and well for some but NOT for everybody either.

YB- cheers to all on this long weekend we are having lasting till Tuesday...

Sorry Bat, I did read your first report. I think that BNM would be on top of all this as they filed the charges twards Brian and wife. I'm sure all thank you for your efforts but you are just a guy sitting in the back of the court.

Very good comment. He can just watch and observe nothing else. Court is in charge of things. Lawyers of either side are not to discuss any details.

I would be the judge! Jokes aside, its all I can do for now. It might not be much but when we were left hanging some months ago, was it any better? If you think you think you would like to comedown to Malaysia and accompany me or better yet take over be my guest. I volunteered for this and the good members (btw did you?) contribute to it. I never promised I would bring back good news regarding BM.

Very good comment? Of course the court is in charge of things, when wasn't it in charge? Did I become in charge? Was I supposed to take charge? Do you want to take charge? What a silly remark. I am sure all the details will come out soon in the trial. What details can't the lawyer discuss????
Do you know something all the judges and the lawyers don't?
