Yes, I am aware that sometimes the announcements of revals were done at the 12pm time also ( in the middle of the trading day) , but based ont he time of the press conference at DC, I tend to believe the rate will kick in tomorrow.

I say, enjoy the little bit of ride ( few hours) that we have left...
On top of that, the 3pm announcement by Condi comes right at 12:00 Iraqi time. THEN the new rate will be in effect.

It is a 9 hours difference between me and Iraq - so exactly at the same time will be TOMORROW in Iraq.

What I actually think is that the first rate that you got from Chase is the new rate, but it is not in effect as of today.

I am curious - if they gave the 0.0007 quote - if they would actually SELL today at that rate or they would say that they are out of dinars. LOL NO, Don't start calling again and play "buyers!" LOL

Does anyone have any info on the network that will be televising this press conference? Will it be on the major networks (ABC, CBS, NBC) or on a news network (CNN, FOX, MSNBC...etc.)?

That's right.
The rate is not generated automatically either - as I have read in one of the posts).
The 5 bucks was TYPED in there and the Safedinar website got "fed " with it.
No crash involved - that's BS , just a guy that hurried to update at CBI.
Also, I don't think it is 5-1, rather .20 for one dinar ( meaning the other way around).

just spoke w/chase bank in phoenix-i can buy 1 mil for $868.70. no rv. just spoke w/ali at dinar trade-no rv. he is still selling dinar at $875.00 per mil. all new notes-no wait.
