DinarTrade will sell until he sees it on CBI . He's too big to stop just based on stuff like this. I always thought that he will continue selling until the day /hour of the RV.
However, Safedinar stopped selling and is waiting for the same thing as us: the CBI update .

And with Chase, if I call the branch where I usually buy my dinars, they won't give me the rate over the phone. As I said: they give you the old rate, but I am wondering if we can actually place orders. I hear someone went to get a 3 mil just now. We'll wait and see...

Trying to reply to something in this thread is like trying to keep up in a chat room with 1000 people talking at the same time. By the time I can get a reply typed (and I type pretty fast), it ends up about 10 posts later, on the next page . This is so exciting . I have no clue what will happen today, but what a way to start a Monday morning .

Okay, I've not seen this posted anywhere, and thought I would chime in what little info I can provide in an effort to help. Sorry if this has been duplicated elsewhere (I could not find it).

I checked the registration information for CBIRAQ.org, and didn't see much that I didn't expect. First, as everyone has discovered already, their website is parked. For a website to be parked, someone has to log in to GoDaddy (or wherever they get their Domain Names from, but in this instance, it is, indeed, GoDaddy), and edit the information for their DNS entries. So it's not a mistake, it is a deliberate change. I am not going to speculate on why the change was made, but just to share that this was a specific action that someone had to consciously make. I know this through first-hand experience, having purchased, and set up multiple domain names through GoDaddy.

I don't buy the whole "Servers Crashed, and messed up the feed that we get from CBI" bunk from SafeDinar. If a server crashes (and this is what little information I can surmise - Hopefully a Server guru can correct me if this is inaccurate), then when it comes back up, it'll act on the last information it has - Whether is restores itself, or needs to be reloaded from a back-up. The rate of $.19 being sent is nothing that has been done before, so it's new information (so nothing that is affected by a crash, I believe). Again, not going to speculate as to why this information has been sent out, but obviously, something is happening. Again, server gurus, please weigh in, because if I'm wrong, I want to know what the RIGHT information is... And I don't want to be spreading false information, either.

I don't want to fuel speculation or anything - This could all just be merely coincidental, and when all is said and done, we find we've been on a wild goose chase during this time. Take my information however you wish, but I'm reserving my final judgment until I see the Central Bank's website come back up. I am ever hopeful, but we'll just have to see how things play out.

Firstly...Safedinar is kind of up selling....delievering who knows...
Secondly, the Press conference is at 3PM EST in Washington at the state department where David S (can't recall his last name just now) will be given an ON-THE-RECORD PRESS ANNOUNCEMENT that will be televised...I would assume the feed goes out to the networks but, think that if its good new about Iraq the Fox News will carry it..or I assume CSPAN...need to check their listings...should be on the website...unless it's down too.

A friend in Iraq told me today that it R/V ed at $3.22 U.S. per Dinar today. It should be announced today at 2:pm central. I will get excited when I got it in my bank..
