Don't agree with it. We all had online accounts with Picpay, a payment processor. All the money there was outside Pips and outside of any investments. Thus all money there still is legally ours. Provided of course there was really enough money there. It would be the same as taking all your funds away from your savings account and that way I'd also argue in front of any legal entity.
Thing is that when we say to BoN we "only" want our investments back they'll get away and hold back the rest of 80-90% of all monies. Would this be ok?
Before we start any legal action, 2,000 people could send them an email demanding for clarification of WHAT they are investigating, how far they are and to release all our due monies. Will they be pissed off of getting their mail servers crashed? I bet they will! Thing is if they only get one or a few emails they just delete it or put it away. But when they get 2,000+ emails they will realize that there is an international membership which is determined to take action. In this case they will also have to take action and stop ignoring inquiries and start to give reasonable answers. They have to know that we are determined to take further steps and take action. Ok, 2k might be too much at the beginning, 500 on a weekly basis will also do I guess :-))

I didn't take the time to read the entire thread, but, I assume that there's still no word from B&S on all of this right?
Still waiting on my either initial investment or that plus earnings.
(I could be a millionare... LOL)

YES I AGREE ABSOLUTELY.
Otherwise we will be waiting for many years.
I hope most of us agree that we must force them
to treat us seriosuly. So let's do it!
But it will help, onloy if we will do it all at least 2.000 members.
If again we will start disputes do it and don't do it,
BNM will do nothing and will laugh at us.
So will we do it?
remark made by micky is very precious. He said:

I personally believe we can get any funds only if we will fight,
if will remain silent, will get nothing.
Let's ask them for our PicPay money.

i would like to do something to get bnm moving. I never had money in picpay because i never tried to make a withdrawal, i'm thinking i should have now. But i would like to see at least my initial investment back. So if we can get enough people behind this then count me in.

Just think about it...
Hi guys,
I was just reading all of this stuff and it occured to me that a little common sense might be in order.
First, I cannot believe that there were any good motives for pushing this thread in such a negative-action direction.
Second, if you were holding all the cards and someone was to apply pressure to you in order to make you do their bidding, would you do it? Wouldn't you rather make them wait longer than you first projected in your own mind? Wouldn't you find some way to teach them that those tactics would not pay off in the future, that noone likes those tactics used on them?
I'll probably get banned for stating my opinion, but that is neither here nor there. I only say that because my last two posts were deleted. One of them was actually giving much credit to everwiser for being the voice of reason and wisdom among the mods. I think the whole thread was deleted about three minutes later. In the last seven months, I have never seen EW do or say anything petty. That is the truth. Someone get jealous? Did you do that YB?Last edited by mmfast; 25-06-2006 at 04:07 PM.

I just can't see the RELEVANCE of going after an Official Legal Instuitute as Bank Negara Malaysia,,,when in fact...it's THESE GUYS who needs to be Investigated ...
"guote from MichaelR:"
"Due to the hasty actions of a few individuals who had little if any interest in the ideals of Pips the investion was initiated by BNM BEFORE BM made the call.
As a result of this when BNM started the investigation BM was in their sights as the target and suspect and not as a client who needed their assistance.
This misconception lies at the root of the problem."
So DON*T quote me WRONG Please...
HIRE some Professional Private Investigators and GO AFTER THESE GUYS...Who are the SOLE reason for THE SITUATION WE are IN...!!
INSTEAD of Pi$$ing off the ATHORITIES and thereby prolonging the Investigation...
Just A Thought...

Largo is right - going after BNM is a waste of time ( ever tried calling the Bank of England?). And I see Nanni suggests, quite rightly, that the only legitimate claim is for the amounts that have been invested.
Since the monies were placed with BM, any attorney hired should be instructed to first obtain a statement from him as to the position.

I'm not disagreeing, since the earnings by this point in time must
be unimaginable, but I guess I missed where Bryan posted this
as such.
Thanks.
