Posting an update?
Marek - there's not a thing wrong with asking them for an update, in fact I think we should, not individually, but as a collective group. All I was saying is that I felt the likelyhood of receiving an answer was pretty slim.

All
Well I am glad to see there are others out there who want a little action. We have been waiting too long with out any communication from Bank Negara let alone Bryan M. I agree lets give Bryan a couple of days and see if he responds. I really doubt he is going too.
And for those who are saying "wait for Bryan" "dont call BON" "Bryan doesnt want this" at this point Bryan is MIA. No one is hearing from Bryan. A very few are claiming to hear from him. But obviously Bryan has let alot of people down waiting on the Lotto as he promised. There is NO EXCUSE for Bryan not to pop in here and update us on him let alone Pips. And for the cheerleaders who have said, "Bryan has it in control" if you know something then post it. BUT ONLY post if it is 100% verifiable. If it is not then that is called speculation and that means you REALLY dont know whats going on either and should keep it to yourself.
I agree with getting a lawyer or an local investigator. I think if we all pitched in a few dollars we could hire one of the best locally. At least we would know someone is working on our behalf because it seems that Bryan has left hanging out and all wet.....

Marek,
I haven't read all replies to your question, but I will share a few thoughts. With 17,000 members, there is strength, but let's not be hasty here (as Bryan has admonished over and over! while we have been saints of patience). Let's have a wise plan, not a knee jerk one.
Bryan, took our money without reservation, promising things that haven't happened. He absolutley has a responsibility to comminicate with us honestly and completely. If he doesn't do that, that's a strong indication of a serious problem. We have responsibility too. We don't want to hurt any honest efforts he is making for pips, BUT, that's no reason for him not to be forthcoming with us. We as a group have a group also need to act on behalf of our own best interests, in unison, carefully.
It's been over a year since I put money in for myself and another person (over $5000) with NOTHING in return. Pleanty of explanations, but nothing that ever panned out. There was a post about DBR that said BN couldn't find any investments that PIPS did... nothing to bring in 2%/day... that's not a good sign. People with integrity keep their word, or they are honest why they can't. They don't keep making promises that they can't do, and that's been the story of pips for over a year...not a good sign.
I went to the BNM site, and there is no indication that the investigation is over... how do you know/how did you learn that it's over?
Bryan needs respond to your e-mail, and not the same old... If that fails, then I wonder if we can agree (50%? 2/3rd's? something..) on how to proceed.
Right here is a very good place to start helpiog "others".
I would be contented with just getting back the money I invested... more than that would be a bonus, but I do want back what I put in. That would help me a lot right now.

Hi Marek,
Has it never occurred to you that we have never, to my knowledge, received any explanation as to why BofN seized the funds in the first place? What did Bryan/PIPS do to justify the funds being seized? You really have to discover that before hiring a lawyer will do you much good. If they were legitimately seized because of some illegal behaviour on Bryan's part (which I suspect), then it's Bryan we/you should be pursuing and not BofN. His recent behaviour of ducking in and ducking out is irresponsible, to say the least, whatever excuse may be given.
Do you recall the early days, before PIPS, when Golden Womb ran the enrolment program and built up the membership, taking care of the members and organizing to help those having difficulty making payments? Until Bryan took over, threw them out and formed PIPS, and nobody gave a damn about members' personal payment problems? Now those two, Susanne and Jack I would have trusted with my life, and nothing illegal would have happened if they were still at the helm.
Think about it.. Was throwing them out and not only just taking over, but also taking credit for their enrolment as well as if he did it himself, the act of a man of integrity?
You asked for our thoughts. Those are mine.Be the change you want to see in the world.
Hugs, George

member: Information Please
Hello Fellow PIPS Members:
It is apparent that many forum members have varied opinions in regards on how to get infromation from BM or Bank Of Malaysia. If we are going to take the legal route I suggest that we build a War Chest. A lot of people make big statment, or "BIg Talk" but when the time comes up to shell out the amount of money committed they shut up and disappear.
We need a War Chest of $50,000.00. just to get started. However, before such a committment requested it is our best interest to determine if any money is left. If not what do we expect to get from a suit? If our money is secure then it would be worth it. If not we are just throwing good money into a hole without a chance of recovery. At this point only Bryan Mardens would have the needed information as it wouldn't be in the Bank Malaysia.
We should be considering a committment of a $100.00 per member just to build the War Chest. Perhaps this money would best be used to send someone to Maylasia or contact Bryan. Any avenue we chose should requires making contact with Bryan before any decision is made. I have seen many cases actions and the shareholders, or in this case the people making the loan, are in a very difficult position to get their money back.(Quote desert)
