Fwiw... a rational vote (from a no-donor)...
as I don't follow the case that closely anymore...
If donors really want it that way, I see no problem in offerring them the slight advantage of getting the info immediately (e.g. updates through mail). Posting the info to the public later is OK, but please keep that delay within limits please... and not several weeks .
Take care,
Hasse

Over it
You know what, this is just stupid. Why should we be donating anything, if someone chooses to go, so be it. I really don't care what happens because in the end the result is going to be the same, MY MONEY IS GONE. So do me a favor and just take me off completely and I can move on with my life and not care if this jerk is living well or not with or without my money! Have a wonderful day!

my vote
I'm retired and we live on SS only. I don't feel good about donating and depriving us of medication, so I would loke to be kept up to date on BM and the trial. This is because we have several thousand $ which we wondering if there is a when we will see any of it. I vote to get an update daily. Thanks for all the info so far.

Thank you Johhny, and we are sad but glad that you have the humility to share with us your situation and we can relate with yours, I can certainly and many more for sure. Don't feel that bad as we will try somehow with the many generous Donors who had cases like yours in mind... just hang on in there, visit the Forum, voice/post a little more and keep us updated of your situation, welcome back to ROLClub....
Cheers to you too mate and your close ones affected by the loss! - YB.

Why More People Don't Donate
Hi,
For what it's worth, I know lots of members that have not donated simply because they don't have an e-gold account and it takes a lot to fund it. If they could just send a few dollars in a check... they would.
I have finally funded mine and will be sending a donation.

Thanks Delores1 for your generous support and letting them know that they can also send a check too. A Bank option can be found in the thread with the routing number there as well.
Please advise them to heed the simple instructions like mentioning their username or email addy and make reference to the RC Fact-finding Fund, very important, thanks.
Here is the thread link you can copy-paste and email to them.

To donate or not
Good evening all. It makes me chuckle when I hear that a person can't afford 2 dollars or doesn't want to spare 2 dollars so he can get info that pertains to him as well as thousands of others. I'm not a rich man, but I do appreciate the work and the hope that TheBat and ROL club is bringing to the people. If I can spare 10 dollars I'll put it in. If I can spare only 2 I'll put it in. If I have to go without my Dunkin Donuts coffee for 2 mornings rather than one then thats what I'll do. I do appreciate what you guys are doing and I hope it never stops. Sincerely Roscoepcoldbrain.

For a first post, this is not a good start...
If you don't care, and don't want to donate then that's your perogative, but don't clutter up this thread with your complaining.
This is not a case of someone has chosen to go, this is a case of one of our Mods taking considerable time out of his own life, and travelling several hours from his home to report on the trial for the rest of the Rolclub membership, who ARE interested in the proceedings.
For the rest of you - thanks for your recent donations. It really is great that you are putting your money where your mouth is to support this initiative.http://nejsnatterings.blogspot.com/
