I believe the many that have been critical about PIPS Fashion and also the Bistros, are missing the large picture. These are the parts of PIPS that helps "ground" the company. It helps others to see PIPS as "real" multi-faceted company with prospected growth in many directions.

I say bravo to Bryan's decisions on this front, even if projects like PIPS PREMEIRE and others temporarily drain cash flow, they will be well worth the money spent, in the long run!

This link was old news. The chinese paper yesterday posted new development by pips fashions. Pips fashions will be the sole sponsor for 2005 regional chinese beauty contest to be held on 27/8/05 and 2005 international chinese beauty contest to be held on 27/10 in Kuala Lumpur. Total 108 sets Ronney Baji by Pips costume which cost more than RM5,000 each will be exclusively designed for the show.

Pips fashions shedule to open its first branch this coming Sept at Lot 10 shopping mall.The other 4 are on planning to come soon.

READ what I put earlier if I was being nasty it would not be humorous, we are having a bit of FUN and I am sure BM will see it that way to and not take offence, as many people still have a sense of humour "EXCEPT YOU" at the end of the day it is not troll food or naysaying it is a bit of humour.

what if Pips Fashions get a good publicity from the beauty contests ? would you agree that would help the franchising side of business ? profits for pips ?

It was always something that undermined Warrens credibility that he was so quick to scoff at the "local" Malaysian businesses and saw them as taking money that in his mind should have been transferred to the members.

It is easy to see that people with small vision should sometimes find it difficult to live in Bryans shadow. Perhaps one day we will find out whether the people who walk are actually pushed?

Anyone who has lived overseas and had a business, even a small one, knows how important it is to be seen to be employing local people, contributing to the local economy and developing home grown talent and I think that there is real potential in the mix of East and West that Ronnie Baji is bringing to the market.

Once all these businesses are established and franchised internationally then we will see them start to make a contribution to the ROL. At the moment they are undoubtedly "small potatoes" and Bryan has sown the seeds for future profits.

By the way they also sell Western sizes which is important. Even Gucci, Ferragamo et al sell their shoes (now made in Malaysia) in Eastern sizes and fittings only, and they are too small and narrow for Western feet.

Lets give credit where it is due. The world of high fashion is a hugely competitive arena but who is to say that Pips Fashion won't be a big name in a couple of years and we can all be chuffed that our loans helped to get it started.
