I have read & reviewed our Anchor's latest mail report and will add here below of his extract pertaining to his groundhog fact-finding interviews he conducted with surrounding occupants close or next to the ex premises of PI Inc in Nilai, Malaysia.

The pictures he edited and compiled in an album was linked to another sharing other personal pictures which is accessible by the public. After calling him to point out of this awareness, we have agreed that the link will be held back until thebat$ returns to the internet cafe and create specifically a separate album to cater all of this assignment and will be made available, hopefully, within the coming week.

I shall, after again agreeing with him, copy paste the links of each individual picture, thebat$ suggested to do in the meantime.

I'll submit this out first and work on that after this...

Any further questions you wish to raise and exchange on the thread will be answered after he gets back this Monday I believe. It is very much more expensive for him to be at the Internetcafe and also, this gives him some extra time with family.

- Closed long time already
- There is a McDonalds just nearby, if you want...

2. Foot Reflexology almost beside NewMark.

- I don't know... you want foot massage or not? $40 for you.
- I don't know.

3. Florist a few doors down from New Mark

- New Mark?
- Oh. I think they closed down.

4. Lawyer Office just next door

- They got into some trouble. I think it was in the papers.
- Closed for the past 2 years.
- Initially many people came looking for the New Mark
Business Centre
- Why? I don't know.

5. Cellular Phone shop

- Closed already.
- Why were you taking pictures?

Why are there no people here?
- There are some pubs and lounge nearby that only opens after dark. Then more people.

6. Alson Kelana Hotel
- I'm new here.
- I don't know
- I don't know
- Who? The mat salleh? (meaning the foreigner)


My own observation.

1. A lot of time has passed.
2. Business that was there at the time of the BNM raid is no more
3. New people come into the scene.
4. It is a ghost town. Hardly anyone walking about on a weekday!!!!

I tried to squint as best as I could, grabbed my telescoop too, (sorry moon, I'll focus back at you after this) to home in on some of those letters falling out of that grilled front entrance...

I just simply can't make much of it...it's all so faint... and blurred from this distance... however, I think I can make out one of them with the initials CL... is that it? a C L ... it's all so faded and blurred...hmm

One wonder whose initials that belong to? ... sure got neglected among that pile.... what a pity really... sigh.

Even when PIPS was operating the area was a ghost town for the most part. Seems close to the same two years later, simply amazing to see this, so thanks again Bat$.

What incredible pictures. Thanks bat$. What amazes me is what it looked like before versus what it looks like now. The building itself is not that bad, and actually quite impressive. Anywhere else this would have been a thriving rental property and money maker. Not 2% per day, but you would have been able to make a decent profit. Makes one wonder where all the equipment went, who got it, and what they will do with it (that is if the government took it). If it was ripped off by thieves, we know what they did with it. Shame it took $1 Million+ of PIPS dollars just for a showroom.
