Welcome Rob, this has been planned for a year now and this is the home stretch. Hang in there for the next month.

Heads up, in about 5 minutes the white house is supposed to hold a press conference with President Bush and PM Al- Maliki of Iraq.

I have an uneasy feeling that they will not make the anouncement we want to hear.

Won't be done on American soil IMO.

U.S. officials believe control of Baghdad -- the political, cultural, transport and economic hub of the country -- will determine the future of Iraq. But the city's religiously mixed communities have become the focus of sectarian violence.

Strange isn't it that only bad news hits the papers/tv stations, how much good info comes out? But we have to hunt for this info. Bad news? Well it sells papers/pulls viewers in. Human nature.

The news conference was mostly about security issues. No mention of an RV. Didn't really expect one here in the US. It will take place back in Iraq.
