As good as that sounds Raddie, I think we will still need the crazy thread. Us gals only seem to have moments of lucidity, and then it is right back to crazy!

I'm not crazy everybody! (Well maybe some nights after a particularly LOONNGG day with my boys! )

I have NEVER had an interest in politics, CNN, FOXNews, or anything of the sort! Now I recognise political figures and can even have an intelligent conversation about certain topics! (political, I mean.) I asked my dad what he thought about what was happening with the Iraqi Gov't and he just gave me a strange look and studied me for a minute...so he knows SOMETHING is going on...doesn't know WHAT yet! loL!

I don't think that I am in the league of Mike, Adam and Raddie regarding news posting(not even close!)...but every now and then an article pops out at me and if it hasn't been posted here, I'll stick it in...the more info the better, right?

And also...It REALLY IS common sense! The war is going on for the betterment of the Iraqi people, right? So the LAST thing that they will do is raise the prices of needed supplies...and then NOT revalue their currency, thus making the items unattainable! They (new gov't) are NOT going to do anything to sink their people into even WORSE poverty than they are already in!

With the new news coming out about "raising the dinar 3 zeros to equal the USD"....You really have to stop and think about it...This is NOT talking about LOPPING! Lopping is taking off zeros from the FACE of the NOTE.

Taking these zeros off the FACE of the note will NOT make the dinar equal to the USdollar. BUT! Taking the 3 zeros over from the decimal point of the current exchange rate WILL make the dinar equal to the dollar!

You guys are awesome and I can't wait to meet you and drinky frosty beverages on the beach! lol!

Hi Tif, You are sounding like Adster, girlfriend! Hi I know you haven't heard from me in the past couple of days, I have been under the weather and didn't really feel like myself. I read all of the post though, (I would have to be on my death bed not to do that) I am back and ready for whatever comes (which sounds so exciting that I go to bed thinking about it and wake up and go directly to my computer!) Each day is a new adventure in dinar!

Well, all the positive news has made be buy another 2 million NID.

Absolutely the final order, I have enough for myself and family to live comfortably with a 1:1 reval.

The residue was dark blue and quite a bit of it and of course the dinar was new. I was counting alot of dinar and several times at that!

When bank tellers and casino workers handle money, isn't it usually old money and the residue from collected yuck transferred during times handled and not the ink itself? This is only an assumption on my part.

I am surprised that this has not happened to anyone else (except for you Mike), cause I know that ALL of you have counted your dinar!

Have any of you wild and crazy dinar gals had this happen?

Im just doing my best Tiff, changing the go crazy thread bcs of you was just a joke, and i think you know that.

The Dinar Beach Party will be crazy, with all of you wonderful people. Alot of beer and some money to spend!!

Hey Monica,

Tell you what I just did. I took a 5000k note and rubbed it on a white envolope I had here at the Desk. I rubbed it pretty hard too. Now these are new notes. I did get a Blue Ink smear across where the envolope is put together. But not much.

You Know when you read the Newspaper on that cheap thin paper and all the ink comes off between the fingers. Well it is pretty freash Ink.

I also just took a brand new $20.00USD bill I just got from the ATM the morning 10 of them and did the same thing. And they are brand new too. And also in sequence as well. "GUESS WHAT"? I got Green and black ink on the envolope too.

Hope this helps. You even made me worry. Had to pull out the USD and check it aswell.

Comon its staring you guys right in the face. Its a zero lop.

Three zeros be taken OFF from the DINAR (e.g. your cash) = a reprint and cash changeover.

You will exchange your 25000 notes for a new 25 dinar note with higher value.

If you can do this you may see a return on your investment around 30-40% or so providing you can exchange in time.

You wont be walking away with millions that is for sure.

Its perfectly clear to me.

But i guess none are so blind as those who WILL NOT see.

I would have thought all the impracticalities of instantly raising the exchange rate to 1-1 would have been understood by now. lol seeing as how ive had to explain it about a million times.

They simply cannot and i repeat cannot no way in hell nada zip zilcho impossible no chance of happening support a rate of 1-1 with the current amount in circulation no matter what any of you think.

Thats all there is to it.
