The demand for dollar purchase decreased last Monday during the second cession of the Iraqi Central Bank auction within this week, recording a demand amounted to 43 million 800 thousand dollars, down from yesterday which was 46 million dollars.

Purchase orders were divided between 18 million and 690 thousand dollars in cash and 25 million and 110 thousand dollars in the form of remittances to abroad, which the bank fully covered by a fixed rate of exchange for the third consecutive cession, at 1470 dinars to the dollar.
However, not any of the ten banks participating in the auction, offered to sell the dollar to the bank.

The CBI is moving it site. It will be down for a few days. cbiiraq.gov should be the new site. Auction today32 million dinars sold at 1470.... everything is good!

Just picked up my purchase of dinar at the Bank of Nova Scotia here in Toronto ....everything the same.... still that curious look from the teller..

There have been no auctions since monday.

And the CBI sells dollars moslty at auctions not dinars. Gbush doesn't know Shiite

Well all of the banks, are now closed for what 10 days? Anyways, right!

Well according to these news agencies. The CBI was holding auctions up to 10/19/2006. That is the way it looks, by these news reports!!!!!!!

I think these blue cards are the Credit Cards that were mentioned a few days ago - not the 10K or ration cards

It was posted that citizens received dinars last year for the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. Do we know what date they received it last year?
