It's been down for 11 hrs. . . . go back about 20 pages, it's been discussed quite a bit . . . concensus is server problem or they are changing servers, etc . . . . . .

I remember back when GW Bush visited Iraq in June I think the CBI site navagation part wasnt working for a while, but I have never seen it 100% down before.

People are saying it's just a server issue, it's nothing. Well obviously it's some kind of issue, but who knows why it's happening, nobody knows the reason. I agree, dont get excited just yet, but instead get interested because it's not everyday that their site is down.

a quick phone call to godaddy and i talked to a guy named chris .. he couldnt go into a whole lot of detail becuase im not the account holder but he did say that it wasnt a DNS issue but an issue on domain holders side ( he used the word setting ) but the problem was not on there end now we no that someone other than the governement of iraq is the domain holder ( or at least use to be ) now he couldnt tell me if it was delibrate or accidently ( not being the account holder ) but again he did say it wasnt on godaddy's end .. could be a billing issue could be something else ..

Okay I am going to post my weird happenings I am finding with one of the news sites I frequent. This site has never changed formatting as long as I have been searching for news and today they have changed the formatting and when I copy off articles it is more difficult to copy, not simply a cut and paste. Also they are now running advertisement banners which to me seems like to attract worldwide business....just my observations on this as I am on this site all the time. I did copy the banner advertisement but it was not as easy as articles use to be to copy. I could be reading into this more than there actually is....but who knows with all the other weird stuff going on today. Fingers still crossed for us all.
