I'm 67 and hubby will be 71 soon. What we have in Dongs will be for our daughter. We don't have a lot of money and we were hoping for the Dinar RV. Just thought to put a little in the Dong for whenever. But you mention other countries in Asia. If you don't mind could you tell me what countries and is their currency up for investment too. I heard something about Turkey's currency RV up when the IQD does and maybe others too. By the way, we don't look our ages and we still have some energy. Hope to God the RV hits soon before our bodies catch up with our ages.

Aaaahhh, bless you both for your positive and determine outlook... you don't sound yr age either...

That's a mighty good giveaway gift for a form of security.. I just hope the money denominations from the "Dong and other currencies" have their value by then... for inflation is gradually following close behind these coming years too...

Here is just a link, click HERE, and that is just an option to consider... regardless of age one is in but esp. an excellent option it offers for seniors and certainly like the young "millionaires" we are getting ever more...

I myself couldn't believe the options before me or us, with my wife i.e., to be able to consider a luxury built Condo for prices like US$40K to US$80K and even much lesser in exclusive locations... now, why are so many Americans & Canadians and Scandinavians flocking selectively to Thailand in particular???

I was once confided during a chat with another American from Wyoming, while we were in Thailand, : if I ever get to be born again, I want to be in this part of the world, I don't care what our astronauts can or have achieved reaching Mars, there is so much more to life here than back home... even from where I come from, cowboy country it remains and the great United States which I rather get away from!!!
Yup, they bought one nice large Villa for themselves to live in, sold two of theirs in USA, including another in Key West and managed to have more value in return buying/investing on two more villas and one Condo... for Investment and to survive their remaining years and still bought another as a safety bonus package for their two daughters who recently married turning 27.

However, away from Thailand.... there is Singapore!!! The place for the hardcore Investor with loads of cash and makes even more under short terms in waiting... outsiders who have little cash have a difficult time succeeding getting a piece of the cake, even on just one landed property or a luxury Apartment... a Condo is almost beyond reach... but if you know locals and Agents, there is the remote chance to make it good to wealthy in a short period. but you need insider connections unless you are representing names like Merrill Lynch and they only deal anything between 5-7 million to 50 million price tags even on a single purchase!! If you have only between 300K to 900K... I can help you out or on a collective basis with others you pull in with your Investment group.

Singapore offers that outlook... it now stands as one of the 10th most expensive locations in the world to obtain a good investment... this is the place to make fast and certain money.... no hocus pokus dealings involved, but the competition here is dynamic, buoyant and super fast in exchanging profits and its always appreciating...

I deliberately left out countries like China, Malaysia, Taiwan, Indonesia, Ceylon, Australia, Japan or Korea.... you can buy in these countries, fairly affordable to 8-digits price tags but you "CAN'T" honestly make money out of them, not in short term and not with the current economies they are in... its a buyers market to move in... not for exploiting Investors who have the option and wants both options available... that's the market I am in for our Investors.

I have a development that will complete by late 2009, sooner than anticipated due to the pace of construction, and the value/location is already noted as a top investment with a high turnover in a highly spoken area on the island. Anyone interested, seriously interested, is welcome to PM me.

If only we had known about such places when we were younger but we were too busy working and raising our daughter and taking care of hubby's family to find out. It is only thru the internet that I find all sorts of info and now thru you. How bad ignorance can be. The rv is our only hope now. God bless.

I believe that you have to open a Trust that YOU control and for this you need a good Trust lawyer. Banks have to report any deposits of $10,000 to the IRS. Anything under that is not reported. There are different kinds of trust so be sure you control the Trust. Find a lawyer and speak to the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) of HSBC in your branch. Don't waste anymore time. Do it ASAP. If you know a good CPA talk to them too. I spoke (last year) to my income tax guy who had worked for the IRS and he told me my investment when it RV will not be considered as "capital gains" but as income. I know he is wrong and probably isn't aware of these currency transactions but I am going to find a Trust lawyer. This RV can happen anyday now (hopefully), so we have to put things in order now. Go online and research TRUSTS. Good luck and God bless. Nidya

This post was for CheckDavid but I think I posted it on the wrong thread. Sorry. I don't know how to pass it over to the Dinar rumor thread. If the Administrators can do it...please do. Thanks.

Hi. I answered this on the wrong thread and to the wrong person. I posted your answer addressed to CheckDavid on the VN Dongs thread. Please go there and read it and hope that it helps.
