Wow... this thread goes as far back as Nov 2006!!!

I really have no idea just how the Dong is doing by now... but I'll be keen to see and taste up front in May when I get to Hanoi... if all goes well and time allows me too...

I'll see what I gather at grassroots level... going there just so my wife is curious what HCM City or Hanoi is like beats me... but I'll go along anyway, now that some other beer buddies have encouraged me to go try as they too have been to Vietnam but for business mainly and I'm seeing these hard core group of buddies {15 pax} from another large Forum (one of them even brew excellent beers privately) yet again... around the tables in the pub and working our tummies with exotic spicy foods through the cuisine haunts followed by some golf as well when time permits on the following days.... we usually leave our BHs behind on these occasions...LoL

Did what you said and saved it in Favorites. Thanks. I am having so much trouble with the RC site. I keep having to log in everytime I go to a new thread or page and the thanks button makes everything disappear. I do wait to see if it comes on but must be some trouble somewhere. I will soon have this opportunity raised or created with a new thread so anyone can see, whats in it for them without worrying too much if they have money or not, to jump on board... this is NOT that kind of arrangement like HYIPs or Matrix Cycler or the likes.

My real profit however comes from the other side of the Real Estate business but I can merged to this unique concept this service offers and so can you, if you want to, with your neighborhood who you know plans to sell their home or bungalow or seaside resort...whatever...!!! there is no soliciting or selling of goods, items or plans cycled up to get people on board to make it work, no need to for all that.

Take good care and keep yourself warm always... I was just informed, Vietnam is sweltering with the heat... and we loath the mozzies festering about... still planning a Vietnamese tour but will avoid Hanoi and focus mainly down south around HCM City instead before crossing the river into Cambodia.... and visit the Siem Reap to snap the Angkor Wat ruins there and not sure the Killing Fields is a nice reminder to go to... we'll see.

I'm sure the DONG is strengthening but not at the pace and amount anticipated... may take quite awhile and since China is hosting the Olympics this year, Asia won't be having the spotlight for quite some time to come leaving the Dong to struggle quite abit.

The Dong keeps going up a little then down again and holding. Meanwhile, investments are doing well and businesses and real estate seems to be thriving. At least that is what I understood fromthe newsreports. Yogi, correct me if I am wrong. This is really going to be a very long wait. Glad you and the Mrs. came back safe.

Yes indeed, it was coming back that gave us a relief from the chills and close grip with the quakes too but we luv that place and we're heading back & to tour for more...!!!

Indeed too for Vietnam but I'm getting feedbacks as well, right from downtown HCMC itself with business links that spreads across from the south to the larger slow developing north however, as you have read, it isn't staying idle... it HAS TO move forward but not at the pace the West wish to see... unfortunately... reports streaming out that are Media related has to sound positive or their reporters are not getting their visas easily the next time... get the drift?

Vietnam and investing there is much more suitable if U R in your early 30's where you have plenty of patience to play it out... NOT for those in their 55's upwards like me for instance...

Vietnam is a passer... a walkover for sure esp. when I have, or anyone with some searching sense, can see and decide the many other current options still widely available that spans across Asia... where value is growing and getting better everyday as well... Vietnam is just, shall we say...., still in her infancy which requires a good 30 odd years to come up... HAVE YOU 25 to 40 years of patience to wait... when you are close to being an ole fuddy duddy in under 10 years or sooner???....

Alot of members here are too reserved and ignoring the countries that are "actually" out there and offering immense wealth if you only ask and not be shy to ask.... rather than stay glued and abt to go diment at a trailing duck that isn't offering sooner than wished for... one could have made thousands in the hundreds by now since early last year and more still ... but ask NOT and you will NOT nor NEVER know which and where...

Only those members from RC and living in the places I refer to... knows just how well off they still remain and are not squealing....heheh...

To each his own as always... but I have found the market and I tried to share, not arrogantly here, and fortunately, most of the Investors we come across are not Internetters either... certainly NOT forummers !!!
