Smart analogy for scrutinizing carefully.... like the Dinars, I started and stayed with the small denominations all the time... only the gullibles went for the BIG denominations...DON'T FALL for it!!!

A few days ago I received a pm from someone who called his/her local HSBC branch and they told him/her that they can open a chequing account for only their customer only.

Who ever wanted to open an account in vietnam ,,, hv to hv atleast 6 months relationship with HSBC. Minimum 1000 US $ is required.

Also told me that it was possible to transfer the money.

I will try to contact HSBC myself and see what they says. Maybe someone else could do the same.......

I will let you know when I get an answer.

I have contacted HSBC myself and they said NO, they cannot do it.

I do not understand why HSBC has different policies in difeerent country.

Why can you open a Vietnamese account in Canada and not in Europe ???

Banks drive me mad.....

I will try other Banks......

I believe Joedinar has stated that he can not get the volume.

I have set it up for $10 discounts per million at Iraq dinars Dinar Trade for all Rolclub Members. He has came down on the Dong's from $130 to $115 plus the Discount per million.

He will even do the Discount for Dinars as well. I know alot of folks have a Chase Bank, but Ali has adjusted the 25k's to $835 per million as well and plus the Discount too.

You are correct, At this time i can NOT get us the volume we are wanting. But i am still working on it and when things change, i will post it on here. Good Luck to all !!!!

Thanks for the info/update.
Do we need to see a FIL in VietNam before a reval can occur; or is a FIL already in place?
Also from what I understand, the Dong won't reval similiar to the Dinar, but it will be a slow gradual increase over the next 3-5 years - is this correct, or am I totally misunderstood?
