Just to maintain the U.S. Dollar costs 120 MILLION a year.Just a simple penny costs 9/10 of a cent to make. So a reprint would be a would be out of the question.

Interesting,
Every time I hear reprint I just laugh. We already know there are other smaller denoms already printed and waiting, so the larger 25K, 10K, 5K and 1K will simply be phased out just as the $10K, $1K and $500. were phased out in U.S. years ago. A total reprint would make no logical sense as was pointed out many times by many people here.
Good luck and health to all, Mike

Paulie, this is for you and anyone else here: I've never heard of a country lopping currency unless there was several years of rampant inflation. Can anyone point to a country that did lop currency where there was no inflation? It seems such a move would eliminate ALL confidence in the currency of that country.
The CBI doesn't need to lop because they can control the money supply in other ways. Also, inflation is getting under control which, in it self, is a miracle in a war time economy. Thoughs anyone?Last edited by jpadrino; 25-04-2007 at 10:31 PM.

i think u r right the only reason that they have the 25k,10k,5k,and 1k is cause there money is not worth anything so they need the big bills so the don't have to drive a dump truck full of cash to the store just to buy a ding dong or a ho ho. so when the RV come u will see them go away
