I am clearly on the fence here.

My hope is that it's swift and stunning.

My fear is that it's slow and methodical.

My greatest fear is the unravelling of the country, the departure of the troops (both US and the rest) and Iraq splitting into pieces.

That's my stand.

I personally don't see Iraq surviving past Jan 2008 without major changes in place like the HCL, FIL and a stronger currency. Munny's Model will be tossed aside if Big Oil gets in this Summer. <<--That is MY opinion.

Thanks for the reply, Hardwood. The strange thing about this is why would anyone toss aside differing viewpoints? Seems to me more info, research, and views are better than simply following one line of thought. Fact is the most direct source is the CBI/IMF and they say the IQD will be re-valued per a gradual method based on security, GDP (economic recovery), infrastructure rebuilding, debt relief, inflation controls, M2 level, bank reserves, and oil production. Fact is that is exactly what the CBI has been doing for 5 straight months and will continue to do so.

I've tweaked the model several times and have stated I would do so. Any investment model must be flexible and adapt to new information or data. Having said that, the overall change has not been as much as you say. And the predictions on rates and dates that you have made during the time I've been in this investment have varied far wider than my model. Thus your complaint is really groundless from any angle you look at it. I really wish we'd get past the "attack" mode of this investment. Why don't we as a community ask each other hard and valid questions about each others theories and leave the smear campaigns aside??? We're all in this together whether we like it or not. The idea of a Bold Adjustment is a theory started right here and widely accepted because that's what we all want-- A BOLD ADJUSTMENT.

Don't worry about it, Hardwood, the timeline is the least important part of my message so if people who feel frustrated that their theories aren't showing results want to hyjack it, fine by me. No one can predict when this war will have a turning point and the timeline was done per request of several people. It's a very general wide outlook, as you can see. I'd love a Bold Adjustment, but even there can only see the numbers crunch to the pennies, nickels, or dimes levels. Let's see how it all pans out.

That is my point, and my last point.

I fully admit being VERY self confident and express myself in a VERY direct manner. But the facts remain that anyone in any Forum that has been civil to me has gotten the same response in return. More to the facts is Adman has been the initiator of attacks against me in multiple posts and threads. I only respond harshly if first attacked by someone. I have MANY times tried to sway or make peace with Adman, but he always comes back on the attack. The fact is my manner is not what galls him, but my message. It doesn't jive with his, thus he attacks. This thread proves it. The guy claims to have me on ignore, yet he continually comes at me. I'm not going to claim sainthood here, but the overwhelming vast majority of "flame" type threads and posts were not initiatated by me. I just am not a "turn the cheek" type personality. Good news is here in Rolclub the back biting is less than in some other places. Let's keep it civil, Adman. If you detest me so much please really do put me on ignore and stick with it.
