As to was I, but it's to be expected. I would just like to give back what so many have given me in these threads. This is a very good opportunity to get real time answers to questions folks may have. BTW, my friends has left for the day but said he would call me later or in the AM. And I have 8 total questions to be asked at this time.

Notazbad, sorry, I couldn't tell which were serious questions and which weren't. I would appreciate a PM on what the 8 serious questions are unless you would like to put them here on this thread. Boots on the ground hold more weight than rumor even if only their "opinion" when based on what they see and hear.

Pretty sorry I think, when a person offers something like this and some of you react like you did. Yep, pretty sorry. But that's my opinion.

Notazbad - First, let me say that I hope your sister gets better. She will be in my thoughts.

Second - I don't have any questions (apart from the obvious ones already asked), but I would like the echo the sentiment that others have stated - Please keep us all informed. Good, bad, ugly, doesn't matter. If you're friend is able to get any info at all, I do hope you'll share. Thank you so much...

Notazbad, I would just like to reiterate - please post the answers on here. I personally would love to see what your credible source has to say.

I don't have any specific questions, just if your source knows anything about the dinar revalue and what his take is on this investment. Also if he's heard how soon it will rv, and when it will happen. I guess just everything everybody else wants to know.

I'm very sorry about your sister and hope she has a speedy recovery.

Question....Can a US soldier walk into an Iraqi bank? Or is this something that is not allowed by US forces? If he can, does he get the cold sholder from bank employees if he would to ask some questions like....do you have some smaller notes than this??? Or is it just too riskey for a soldier to be asking these questions at a bank??
