First and foremost, I am not questioning your source!!!!!!!!!!
I too am a service member in Iraq and am curious what is your sources job? The reason I ask this is for clearity on how he obtains his info. We have a Iraqi shop here in which I have already asked what thier rate was and immediately they referenced the CBI rate actually even using the comment. "it changes daily and turning to his friend and asking what is the CBI rate for today". I have noticed that over here there are alot of Third country nationals, but not an overwhelming number of Iraqis, obviously for security reasons. I am just curious if he is part of the units patrolling the streets or just simply based in Kuwait. Again thank you very much for you info and by no means is my intent ill in any manner.

I never said the individual I was dealing with was a servicemember in Kuwait. I said he is a reservist completing his military committment but he works in Kuwait, the job he does there is unimportant at this point. All I can tell you is the answers to the questions put to me that I put to them. So I guess you can call it third-hand information, but I don't think they would send misinformation to the questions I asked, they are all pretty general questions.
