I'm going to go WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY out on a limb and say that after this weekend we will all still be looking for the next big rumor. But here's to hoping.

I'm assuming this weekend has passed. I am new, trying to catch up. Well, perhaps at last week's meeting held on the 17th, was it? They came up with a value to peg the rate at, and are waiting for the right time to announce it?! Hmmm.

I know this thread is just a bit dated, but has anyone stopped to think about the smaller denoms since the last date of this thread. I have been doing a little peeping around regarding SD's (smaller denoms) and noticed that the former dictators face is not on them. Could they again use these denoms and have saved on print cost? Could they have already been in place from the very begining, but not to be reintroduced until a pending revalue? Were they infact waiting for this moment of 1260 and all the laws being passed and yes, the summer vacations to let this thing go at this particular time? Any thoughts? Opinions?

Weren't those notes easy to counterfit and getting the reprint was one way to negate that? But anything is possible. . . .

So true Doc, but they have been out of circulation for about four year now, just thinking outside the box here.
