Default The horse is thoroughly DEAD, but...

As long as there are RUDE people, this problem will never go away. In the almost 3 years I have watching the way people treat each other on these forums NOTHING has changed. I started coming to RolClub because IIF was becoming so immature...but, like a pestilence, it spreads.

Open, meaningful, polite, even heated debates are what a forum like this is all about. When immature name calling babies are let loose, it doesn't take long before silly unneeded sub-forums like this one are created. Unfortunately this sub-forum will not survive. mainly because the bashers LOVE a confrontation...and that's the jist of it ALL. There's no "birds of a feather" thing going on here! If they can't be stirring the pot, they aren't happy. We all know someone like this...some of us a married to one (or used to be!). Blah blah blah.

It's too bad there are soooo many immature so called adults in the world. it will never change.

In my opinion, the best thing all of us can do is ignore them when they post nasty tripe. When you comment back, you are actually giving them exactly what they crave...ATTENTION!!!! We all know it....so, may I suggest the best way to get "at them" is to ignore them. If everybody just ignored them, guess what...

LOL!! Most of the Namecalling come from the Rumor-Starters not the Ney-sayers!! But apparently the Rumor-Starters have a pass to call names.. And the rudest people are the ones that start a rumor which never pans out!!

While i like the investment i have done in the iraqi dinar, and think its a good deal, i also respect the naysayer's views.

A forum is about presenting your views, and respecting others. We have room for both groups here, and i hope this contrast can lead to healthy discussions.

Yes, danny51, I will agree that thin skin is a problem here and everywhere. Offense is the bait of Satan and so many of us take it. The bible strongly warns against it.

I apologize for calling you a hypocrit and not resisting the urge to give my 2 cents worth, because that is exactly what it is worth.

Jumping to conclusions and assumptions is easily done and I am just as guilty as the next.

We quickly judge others by their actions and presumed motives but we expect others to judge us by our intentions. If only our intentions were so evident and we as humans were so transparent.

Any one else out there ready for this bickering to come to an end?

I now digress and anxiously wait for the next tidbit of good info.

    Monica

Personally, I have always used my real name and information and I have formed some very tight bonds with people because of it, even within the PIPS fiasco, I value friends more than foes. (g)

No doubt most will not agree with this, but for those who have been online for years like I have, some of my best friendships were created through the internet, so I know it can work. Respect is difficult to maintain when you are annonymous in a forum, so as was pointed out by danny51, this is to be expected when no one knows who we are debating or discussing issues with. Perhaps a thread for only those who identify themselves would be an option to consider. I know I am getting tired of these bashing posts, and I am sure I am not alone.

    Good luck to all, MIke
My mail man is a good guy, I don't want him to drive around all day till he gets to my house to deliver a smelly rotten dead fish some one sent me because they didn't like a post of mine. I also like talking on the phone but not to some psycho that calls me 20 times to tell me I'm a BLANKITY BLANK with a BLANKITY BLANK BLANK BECAUSE OF A POST. If you want to make friends it should be done via a PM with some one you want to and not with a nut case that can see your info because it is required to be a member of a forum. People aren't like Richie, Ralph & Potsie any more, real real real bad idea.

There are rules. And if there is any such activity, then kindly do care to share it with me .

I believe that no matter what type of forum, or thread Is started It first must have RULES to abide by and terms of service to keep things in order. even on a Naysayers Thread, RULES are needed. First, and foremost REMEMBER Your MOM, Grandmom, Kids ,and grand kids May come on here. Its bad enough that most people understand the curse words and what they mean. Do they Have to be subjected to it on here? also if people in the ROLCLUB would Just read the TOS and RULES of the club. There would not be much of a need for moderators, supermoderators, and Admin. Then who would the bad guys that continually break rules have to blame? Someone Needs to keep the foul mouth and bashers in line. We all Know this, and Yet when someone is banned or reprimanded there is a cry of foul. "I didn't do this , and I didn't do that , and why me? " everyone can discuss NOW If you keep your discussions where they belong . and stop Polluting the Club With all the violations. we have all been here on this club for quite a while now, and we all know that if a violation Is violated then we will have to pay the consequences. This is like a UNIVERSAL Law. The same is true for life. SO why the confusion when you are banned or warned? Have discussions , agreements and disagreements ---FINE but abide by the rules set forth. JMHO

PS Lord knows I'm no saint and I cabn keep up with the best of the bashers ,and cursers---I just don't do it for the world to know, and judge. BOB

Cool I guess I will Post here too.

I dont agree with this Thread being started. I believe all can post in the same threads or new threads together. I have never had a problem with debate.

My Only Problem is Bashing and Language. I will continue to look for that. Other than that I dont give a ratts butt where you or anyone else post. Not anymore. I use to. But that will never change. Aslong as thee TOS are followed you want hear from neno. Other than I have heard the Best Rumor of all too. To bad you have to debat it. But it is gone now. And dont ask for it back.

Rolclub is the same as anyother forum. It has them all too. Dosent matter. As Long as the TOS that are set by Admin are followed, post away. My Only request that will be fullfilled is to keep the News Thread to the News. ONLY. I could give a ratts Butt about the othere threads, other than making sure the TOS Rules are followed.

Thats it from me. Have a good thread night. I will be in the Latest/News One.
