My personal opinion would be you exchange and get greenbacks. But the greenbacks will be Pending while the bank sends the bills away to be checked for authenticity. So you probably wont be able to touch the money until the dinars are checked.

So those Certificates of Authenicity are not worth the paper they are printed on? Or the fact that the dealers were registered with the Department Of Treasury when they sold you the dinar doesn't mean anything? I do understad there may be some delays paying out a huge number of folks exchanging dinar for dollars, but they should be able to set you up with a check or deposit of some sort to say you got your exchange. Please hit me if I am wrong.

To tell you the truth even if they are registered with the US Treasury that doesnt matter. They could sell counterfiet dinars whether it be by mistake or on purpose. I dont think the US Treasury keeps tabs on the authenticity of the bills they are exchanging but I think it just means a background check says that they are safe to deal with and the US Govt. Treasury backs thier business and transactions....
