am not a person to post much but i got some info from my friend, he states the dinar will change its vaule on the 24th after the presidents speech on the 23rd. he states that iraq will pass hcl on monday then on tuesday president speech and on wensday BOOM .80 - 1.00. So i am very suprised this info has leaked who ever is in iraq please listen to iraqi televison for info of revaule they said it wil probaly hit on tuesday.

Yea Mike, I read it too. I was sort of stumped because for some reason I thought the Presidents speech was in Febuary but sure enough the news tonight said next Tuesday so all these rumors may have legs BUT I would still feel better if one of own was hearing the same thing. Maybe our own Fab 5 can confirm it.

Another thing that's interesting is the Official Gazettes are still down. Has anyone seen them down this long? Awfull funny things happening individually but put them all together and it reeks of a reval.

I understand that rumours are fun and stoke people's hopes and I will not act as a dampener here. Good luck to you all. It's pretty certain that the RV will happen but I don't think anyone is privy to confidential info pertaining to the exact date or the revalue amount.

AGREE 100% about the banks not needing any advanced notice of a potential reval. I used to work at a bank that deals in foreign currencies and all you do is check the going rate in the computer before you do the transaction. it is that simple folks. as much as I want this rumor to be true, I am betting against this one too. sorry

cig, how can we expect them to be up? I mean they cannot figure out when all these enactments are going to be. They don't now to enact the FIL and the HCL with the Retirment Laws before the r/v or after the r/v. It is a hard decision.

Yea Neno, I do believe your on to something. They do seem to have a problem figuring out what to do and what order to do it in. Also I noticed that they have a serious disease of talking out both sides of their arses. lol.
