Thread: How To Force BNM To Inform Pips Members

Thank you Ville for your support. Yes all together we are much stronger and we have been waiting long enough.

And to Bigdogs I would like to say that of course anyone has the right to do whatever he wants, but till NOW nothing concrete happened and that union=power.

An individual will never be considered by BNM, but an official representative for thousands of people, in this case a well respected local attorney, can't be ignored even not by BNM.

What concerns the collection of the money and designating the right attorney, somebody has to do it. And NO, not everybody is a thief and runs with the collected funds.

I'm using your proper words, WE ARE BEING SCREWED ALREADY. If a couple of extra bucks are a big obstacle, what are we here for in the first place?

What are all of us still doing in this forum? Are we all waiting one day for THE magical message, who will never come?

Are we here to join the next HYIP (tons are advertised in this forum) and get screwed again? Sorry, I'm not. It was not the purpose of this forum in the first place.

Don't forget that the individual(s) who are willing to do this are spending their valuable time to help ALL members recup their investment too.

I have proposed exactly this last year and again this year and received the same futile arguments. All have shit in their pants up to their throats and have too much respect from regulatory bodies, I call it an authority syndrome combined with anxiety.

We shall NOT force anything, agree on that. BUT we can ASK for communication as 200,000 clients DO have the right to know what is going on. It's a pity, actually an outright shame (you really mustn't tell that anyone) that such a large group became so lethargic and is not able to stand as a union, as a ONE MAN behind this. It's an outright shame!

Waiting and waiting and waiting, procrastinating, I ask you do you seriously really think you will ever achieve anything at all with such attitude??

I give you my word, I promise you that with such behavior we all will wait not only another 12 months but 12 years as BNM really cares less as it seems.

It's like already said, we are 200k members and we do need a voice to represent us. Especially the folks in the US know that without an attorney no one will take you serious at all, not to mention that anyone will hear what you have to say. And this is the case worldwide, also in strict Malaysia!

Many forgot that we are here not a tiny group of 2k members or so. We are 200,000 clients and billions of $ are involved! There is no reason at all to sit this out. BNM has gathered not less information and evidence until now. Believe me, if they never release any money to us then they have already decided that! If so then we have the right to know what the current situation is, no need in every detail, but to know what is going on, if we get our money back or not.

And NO, this will NOT slow down the process of the investigation (where you guys really live??) as it doesn't take a rocket scientist at BNM to write a one page and publish on their homepage.

An NO this will NOT cost us $500k to hire a good lawyer in MY, more like 10k-30k max. for only representing us and retrieving infos without any trials. We are over 18,000 RolClub members. Do you think it is possible that each donates a one time $2-$5? This doesn't cost an arm and leg for anyone.

But this group is divided! And that is the problem! Any my honest opinion is I would really care less about. We can start a poll and gather a group of 2k members who are willing to donate a bit. A small core group of MY pioneer Pipsters could be formed to represent us in front of a MY attorney, on behalf of PIPS membership.

But as it seems here only a few people are keen on to see any cent back from PIPS. So my talk here is also in vain and you can forget the above text again.

There is somthing called due process which means if cases are not finished with in a resonable time frame courts will throw the cases back at the prosicutors if those requirements arent met. In most civilized countriess that is around one year. I dont know if that is the case with BMN and the Malaysian authorities but I think that losing face would be something the BMN should be concerned about. There are international governing bodies with ceraain rules which the Malaysian authorities must have agreed to abide by. My point is if we get a lawyer like this and I am all for it this should be one of the weights we should put on the case to force the BMN to act and finish this process as soon as possible.

OK, I'll throw in $10 into the pot. After all, that is about like a tip for a modest dinner for two. Tell me who to make the check out to & where to send it. I seriously doubt any individual wants it made out to him/her if they are concerned about their reputation. I can't imagine a law firm wanting all these little checks from all over the world in dozens of currencies. A non-U.S. bank may charge more than the check is worth to cash it & convert to a foreign currency. I am certainly not going to mail someone currency which they would also have to get converted into their currency. See, even the simpliest thing is not easy.

I don't know about the rest of the world, but U. S. attorneys will not take just any case on a contingency basis. There are expenses involved with any job and unless the attorney feels there is a good chance of there being some cash or assets to recover, they are not usually willing to take on the expenses which they may not recover. The fee in the U. S. is usually 30% to 40% of whatever was recovered not 10%.

I agree... It's a tricky situation. We've been 'conditioned' to believe that if we don't sit and do nothing, then the investigation will be pro-longed and we'd complicate matters... so, no one does anything....

On the flip side of that, because no one does anything, the BNM has no real incentive to get this investigation settled. There is no one lighting a fire under them, so they will continue to drag this out and keep us hanging...

If we DO NOTHING, it could blow up in our faces... If we DO SOMETHING it can still blow up in our faces... either way, there is a risk and we're still in the same boat.. so....

This is an addendum to message #25. I will send a U. S. postal money order. I do not want copies of my personal check with account number, name, address & phone number sent all over the internet so I could get scammed by indentity theives. However, I will post on this forum the date I send it & if the recipient is agreeable, the name & address I sent it to. I am not going to send $10 to everyone who replies, only the first.

Ok...if you guys are really so "determined" to seek legal means
to settle the case, then I believe somebody from Malaysia
has got to stand out and be the co-ordinator for the whole issue.

We need answers. Some say PIPS case is a complex one. Perhaps.
Some keep posting that there is billions in PIPS. How do you know?

I invested mucjh in PIPS but I doubt that we will find much in the till
But hey let's get some answers from BNM and BM. It is our right.
The money may be gone but we have to know how and why and where...

i'm in as well, i just want BNM to get their act together and say one way or another what is going on and to give us back our original investments back, although at this point i feel we probably will never see it.
It's time we be heard so i 100% stand behind hiring some legal representation to get the ball rolling
