I seriously doubt a group of UK investors actually instigated the investigation. What makes you believe they did?

In all fairness this has all been discussed before. And most of us already knew that this would go to the state prosecutors office. We have known this for a few months now (where have you been). Why? Because this is normal procedure. It HAS TO GO to the state prosecutors office because that is the official procedure. And then from there the state prosecutor has the ability to close or dismiss any of the findings/investigation if nothing was found wrong by Bank Negara.(which we know is not the case) So this doesnt really tell us anything of the seriousness of it.
But yes the real question is where is the money? And since Bryan is totally silent on THAT isssue alone THAT speaks volumes........

A consortium had a meeting in London with BNM and filed thier complaints.That is old news.The complaints were then taken to Malaysia.
Based on those and other withdrawal complaints the investigation started.

Bryan has not been silent as to where the money is.
It was locked in the accounts when investigation started.

and of course we all have proof that there is all the money wherever it should b at the time this investigation started,don't we.....another assumption....u or i don't know if there is any money left at all.....why would the withdrawls have stopped in the first place if there was money.....u r assunming it is locked up safe because bryan said so...and only that reason...in fact...u really don't know.....and noone else besides Bryan or the BoN probably know for sure.....IMHO....Pat

It was BN that locked all the bank accounts while it investigated.

You state I only know because Bryan said so. Then you say I really don't know and no one else except Bryan or BN know for sure.

Sorry I don't follow that logic.

It was about Bryans "alleged" silence, not about the truthfulness of the statement.

You might even be able to get your own forum section (more handy for us because we aren't pestered then if we choose not to).

manic1...what logic r u talking about??...have u seen a bank statement from BoN stating how much money is locked up??...has Bryan told u how much funds r available??....if so,please tell the rest of us pipsters....i think we all would like to know how much money is there....but the fact is....u just assuming it is there and locked up...because Bryan says so...thats the only logic there is...u saying just because Bryan says it is....that it is so....the point is this...just because Bryan says it is there does'nt mean that it is...facts r what most members are looking for...not assumptions....IMHO...Pat
