Thats all I could find for now........ just go do a google search for "internet lottery laws" and see what you can find. I trust my attorney, he has been with me a while.
AND if you think "The Federal Trade Commission" is just an 'opinion'.......I'm sorry to say that you are seriously mistaken.

"According to the Federal Trade Commission, it's illegal to buy or sell foreign lottery tickets through the mail, telephone or the Internet in the United States."
I don't think they are thinking of internet-based lotteries..........My opinion.
But I look forward to seeing the exact law............

I'm not into gambling, done that and saw what it involves and makes ppl happy on one end while the other side loses out and sometimes if not often, TERRIBLY.
What are we all getting into ...? You only know, I hate gambling since, affects the conscience somehow. Yup, a new leaf turned if you will.

This is so weird....I have been doing "Google Searches" for "USA laws pertaining to internet based lottery"........and I found 3 different articles that really dont compliment each other.....
One basically says the same thing I posted above....."According to the Federal Trade Commission it's illegal to buy or sell "foreign lottery tickets" through the mail, telephone or the Internet in the United States"...............then another one says that only one USA State has a law prohibiting this.....(Louisiana) and then the 3rd article says basically that it is illegal in the USA to do ANY type of gambling online...... Casino's, lottery, horse betting.....yada, yada.
So....LOL......I am more confused than I was before I started.........somebody else want to give it a whirl?

Well that doesnt mean anything really.......hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of people in the USA gamble on online casinos regularly. Doesnt mean it is legal.
Like I said.......I am more confused about the laws now than I was before.......LOL........I will do some more research later.....

Nevertheless it goes on to show how lucky we Non-Amricans are.
However, I know something which may or may not shed a light on the matter.
I use brokers to trade on forex right?!... some of them do not allow people from the USA to trade while others do... The location where the broker is registered doesn't have to do with it. This could probably mean that it's not anything to do with USA laws, but these entities need only sign up some agreement that allows them to transact with the Americas.
Could be!
