ohhhh... what a sweet and heartwarming story. We all know people like Stevie. If you don't, I'd recommend that you make it a point to find one of God's special angels... and make a new friend, you will learn much!
And the other 'angels' in this story... those who gave so generously. We all know people like that...just check out the posts in this forum, there they are... Thank you gnome for the wonderful story to begin my day! (it's morning here :-)

    Hi Guys

I run an on line Betting Exchange here in the UK, it is true that the American laws pertaining to internet gambling are incredibly confusing and conflicting.

I would like to point out however that No One has been taken to court in the US for Internet gambling, it goes under the Wire Act, and only one person has been jailed for RUNNING an internet gambling site, in Antigua I believe.

The playing of a lottery in which the outcome is decided elsewhere than the States really shouldn't concern you as it would not come under US jurisdiction as noted by the World Trade Organisation, and unless your transactions on your PC are investigated which is highly unlikely, there is really little to give the game away to the authorities anyway.

    Good points,

Can you even imagine the manpower it would take to stop everyone who is playing lotto or gambling online would cost?

    Happy Holidays to All, Mike
