Thread: In the spirit of Christmas.....Please Read!!

I don't get it Style......How does one change that quickly his/her thoughts about what they believe just because those who don't agree with him/her are yelling long and loudly.

I think they call that Peer pressure. I think some of the responses have been rather harsh on Style but we are all cheering now aren't we????? Go figure!

I, too, spoke very briefly with an attorney and she said she was NOT aware of any US law that prohibits purchase of lottery tickets off the internet. It could not be in the country where the lottery originates because we all know that PIPSAID is duly licensed in Malaysia.

My attorney said same thing in short statement. His time is expensive so did not want talk to me long time. I will check some more in to it.

Dont put too much thought into it. I have always been 100% Pro-Pips and that has been obvious all along. I wont deny recently I have had some issues with the way some things had played out......(or started to play out) and I have voiced my opinion quite clearly.......but you know what I realized........the approach I was taking wasnt doing anybody any good. It was dividing PIPSTERS and we CANT have that at this stage of the game. So I sat down and thought...thought really hard about what was most important to me, proving my point or helping PIPS survive. It was a no brainer so then I thought.....what can I do to help this progress in the manner that we ALL want and need it to......the only answer I could come up with was to FIGHT........not like I have been the last few days......but like I was before..........FIGHT to help PIPS survive. Like I said......we are all in a situation to where we can either help fight for our own cause.......or we can sit on the sideline and then b*tch later if things dont work out like we expected. (kind of like those people that never vote.......but always complain when the person who was elected doesnt do things the way they like) I dont want to be that person......so I decided to go with my "country boy" instinct/menatality. FIGHT like hell for what you want....... so I decided to do just that. MANY, MANY things are still unclear to me and I am still not happy about a few things.......but there will be plenty of time to sort all of that out AFTER we get PIPS back up and running......right? So like I said before.....I am big enough to put my differences and my pride aside to fight the good fight. Wont you join me? Lets win this thing and then put the pieces of the puzzle together later. And believe me after we get PIPS back up and running.....I will still expect some answers to a few questions, and I am sure we will get them.
There really is no secret here and there is no hidden agenda. PIPS is important to us all and I cant just sit aside and not do my part......thats not how I was made.


And also.......I just remembered the season and what it is TRULY about........kind of made me feel foolish and I thought about all of the people in the world that are so much worse off than I am. A LOT of people dont even have the opportunity to rant on the internet because they dont have computers, or homes or even the education to know how to spell or read....some dont live long enough to have ANY of these things because they starved to death as a young child or because they laid in a bed and died as a small child because they didnt have any medical attention......kind of put things into perspective.....so I decided to just get over myself!

No he didnt. I had already heard this so when I called him to verify I just told him what I had heard and he said that is correct. We didnt go into it in depth. I will call him back on Monday (he is out tomorrow......court) and see if he can give specifics or point me to a website where I can read up on it myself.

That's very good, style. But I consider that an opinion. What I'm looking for is a federal law that specifically states that it is illegal to buy lottery tickets off the internet even if such a lottery operated offshore and licensed in its country of origin.

We should all understand that each state has its own set of laws pertaining to this and that there are states which allow its residents to purchase lottery tickets off the internet provided the operator is licensed in that state. Gotta take care of their own territories.

Anyway, I look forward to reading the results of your research.
