OK I have read of posts in regards to logon here is how to do it
go here:
https://pips.pipsinc.com/guest_only/entrance.php
Now if this is the first time you are logging on you use your current User name & P/W and in the code box you enter 0000.
If it comes up with servers are busy try again later. then wait a few minutes ... try avoiding going on when the US is awake (tip)
If it comes up with username not found, try it again if that fails click the Members Area tag click the RESET PASSWORD tag it will take you to a site that askes you for the folloing details:
1)PIPS USERNAME
2)A NEW PASSWORD & CONFIRM IT
3)YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS REGISTED WITH PIPS
4)YOUR PIPS PIN NUMBER
5)YOUR SECRET QUESTION
6)AND ANSWER
7)THEN AGREE after reading agreement
8)THEN RESET NOW
******then check your e-mail*******
If your pin isnt working than
1) click the Members Area tag click the RESET PIN TAG
2)PIPS USERNAME
3)PIPS ACCOUNT PASSWORD
4)YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS REGISTED WITH PIPS
5)YOUR SECRET QUESTION
6)AND ANSWER
7)THEN AGREE after reading agreement
8)THEN RESET NOW
******then check your e-mail*******
i WOULDNT THINK THERE IS MUCH MORE INFO THAT YOU WOULD NEED.
And as for the statement that it only workes for people that have already loged on. thats not true I tested this on a computer that has never been there.
Thank you
Bruce

These steps will only work if you have managed to log on the new site and setup the secret question and answer, using a different computer has nothing to do with the resets of pin or password. Those that have symbols in their usernames/passwords seem to be having a problem that IT is working on. It seems to work for some and not for others at this time.

Thanks Bruce
But I did this and it doesn't take my USERNAME. Same thing when I try to put in a Ticket. It doesn't take my USERNAME. I put in a ticket with the use of another PIPS username 3 day ago with no answer yet. I tried calling through the days to the office with no answer. This did cause a lot of people to call and put in tickets so I can understand the amount of time it's taking to get everyone answered.
I do have patience after being with Pureinvester since 2002. It will be resolved soon as well as the withdrawals. Good things are around the corner and it's not a city block.

Hi Bruce :)
Its only the old members that have a secret question for their accounts. The more recent members didn't have the option of a secret question when opening their accounts.

Username Password
Appreciate your guide to login. I seem to fallin the cracks here somewhere. I get "Login failed. Username/password not found." I had not logged onto the site for a long time. Last time I did there was no need for a PIN. Using 0000 with my username and password (lowercase, alphanumeric) does not work. To reset the Password I need the PIN. 0000 does not work. To reset the PIN I put in the info I believe is correct andf I get "PIN Reset Failed - Entered Fields Do Not Match With Your Profile!" Using the Support Ticket System has yielded no results. In fact the ticket that was supposedly posted by me is not even mine. Where mine went is unknown. Also cannot get through on the phone, ever. Any helpful hints here????

Hi geoft....
I'm in the same boat as you, my account was working fine until yesterday then suddenly my username and password was incorrect. I registered so I could put in a ticket and tried calling to no avail.
I ended up getting a friend to fax them for me and they had replied to the fax in 1 and a half hours (I know it wasnt my ticket answered as its still open). Only problem is the new pin number and password they issued me does not work either!
I know the staff are working their butts off but its an incredibly frustrating feeling when you try and go thru the appropriate channels and it doesnt work.

Oh dear,
When I posted this I was looking at it iI guess you could say logicly, well why would they "delete user names, S/question, passwords, pins, or any other vital info, THEY WOULDNT DO IT DELIBERATLEY, I appologise to those who have fallen through the cracks. realisticly from an IT stand point (please read profile) If an adminstrator dose an oops he knows its going to cost him 6 times the amount of time rectorfying the issue generated, now as I can see there are more than 1 of you lets say it takes 1 day for the indevidual issue to get reported to the IT deparment and it may take another further day to respond let alone react Thats 3 days now lets throw a number at it 15 ISSUES, dose that mean that most issues could & would take up to 45 days, now the IT department are not gods the make oops's dispite how much effort & SOP's are in place there is allways that one little check box that migh not have been ticked possible named "ARCHIVE ALL FILES". As I dont have any thing to do with the runnings of the organisation due to geographic location I was just looking from a third angle of the fourth dimension.
WHEN YOUR COMPUTER IS PLAING UP WHO DO YOU CALL...
WHEN YOUR COMPUTER IS RUNNING GREAT WHO DO YOU COMPLAIN TO THEN.
