Well, I enjoyed some success with the program and feel for those investors that didn't get at least their original investment back. I really don't know what happen and whose fault it was really; It appeared that some of the concrete businesses that PIPS got into were not very soundly researched and staffed and drained money away from the original program. We do know that they did exist: The Bristol, The Clothing Manufactor, and the Bible CD producer. I did receive the first CD and still see it advertised. Just Like most, I wish that it would have worked. I just didn't get greedy like some did. I was Lucky.

That depends at just which stage you are referring to....?

From my perspective, when most of us submitted our sum in the belief that it was making to some headway with some form of Investment, we were led to believe it was far from bogus or illegal.

Those around the Marsdens, and those who actually were cohorts to his scheme as it later turns out to be, THEY are responsible with the full knowledge of what actually was going on...

WE did not and will NEVER ever know what took place... we were not involved, deliberately or otherwise, in getting involved with illegal malpractices that the Marsdens had up their sleeves...

What eventually was uncovered and still remains suspect by the Malaysian Authorities, has yet to be confirmed as either illegal or fraudulent and had occurred thereafter... from gathering our monies...

YES, from that point onwards, one can speculate or perhaps qualify with a good measure of confidence, that it is now viewed as an illegal operation that Brian Marsden was fully aware of, if not being the "brain" behind it all.

Our good as lost-4-ever monies was perhaps illegally handled and manipulated for an individual's goals or perhaps more are with him on that... but that is another story or remain as a follow up case to be determined...

Right now, part of the recovered meager sum is in custody and it is left to the Malaysian Authority to decide on its outcome for disbursement ... if there is any left at all for the rest to share of what will remain for the taking...

I personally, won't be counting on that wishful thinking.

The Bristol ? Perhaps if BM had manufactured those fine cars pips would have been a success. Unfortunately we had the Bistro instead.

The Bible project had a great future, but that is the hands of others now.
Roni Baji fashions are long gone.

I just read that the March trial could well be cancelled again, this time due to the current political status in Malaysia.

Better starting digging pronto Flockie. On May 6th the secret may be out.
Maybe the March trial is still on.I was told it was postponed.

    From the Bank Negaras Website;

PureInvestor.com Inc. and its Related Companies

PureInvestor.Com Inc. (PIPS) directors, Bryan John Marsden and Phan Sew Ken have been charged under the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorism Financing Act 2001 (AMLATFA) and the Banking and Financial Institutions Act 1989 (BAFIA).

The hearing for the offence under BAFIA is fixed on 6-8 May 2008. With regard to an offence under AMLATFA, the prosecution is conducted by the Attorney general's Chambers.

I may and perhaps, I may not try attend despite being invited by several friends and another lady prepared to cook special Indian curry dishes for my show-up in Kuala Lumpur.

Am in Singapore for other personal family issues on inheritance/Legal arrangements which can be wrapped up and hopefully in a few days only and if I can sneak out on my own to drive up & meet some beer buddies there, I still may not have time to branch off to sit-in on the Marsdens trial.

Schedules are tight as I am also scheduled to shoot over to Thailand to oversee our Villa's progress on the construction and there is a small window to hop over to Shanghai too.

We are looking into popping over to Vietnam... wife is interested to visit the Angkor Wat temples too.

I also hope Batty is able to find out more or soon and physically able to withstand that length of time and absence away from family on our behalf to cover the trial(s).
