It did not sound right to mistreat the hired help for something they have no control over. They do no run the company or make the decisions. The waiter was hired to do one thing. Wait on tables. Not answer question concerning what is going on in the Company structure. How would you think that they have any knowledge of what is going on. Do all the waiters in Starbucks or any other restaurant get emails or have direct communications from the CEO. Getting pissed at them is simply venting your anger inappropriatly just because in your mind, they are the little people and you get to because you put your money down. BS! Suggest your check your attitude at the door Jerry. What you should have done since you noticed that the employee wasn't in perfect health was give a big tip. Not impressed with your obvious lack of consideration or the lack or real information information presented. I have no patience for people who abuse others for any reason just because they think they can get away with it. Perhaps your discracefull attitude will in fact get passed on along with the message and perhaps that is why you did not get served Served at PIPSTandoori. Why perhaps you might get served the door out of PIPS before PIPS doors open again for good.

Bottom line: There is never a good reason to abuse others whos' work is to serve you - EVER!.

****, seems to me i gotta straighten some of you boyz out again!!

Jerry did ok going over there, it was planned a while ago, so sure it was worth to give it a shot.
Dont you bloody blaim him for whatever he did, if he would have come back with good news, you would all LOVE him for the post!
    Would you right!!

Now, i wouldnt be able to stand waiters, who are supposed to SERVE me,
starring at me like an *****. Trust me, i have been in the restaurant business long enuff to know how to treat customers.
They just been plain disrespectful, no matter what.

And hell, i would have gone straight in the bank of negara and tried every con in my mind to find out how to find Bryan.
Yes, Jerry might didnt try all, but its not on him to try everything to meet BM. He is not an investigator, but a normal investor.

So, guys, get your act together and MOVE ON like Jerry said.
Since a while i make good and save money out there too.
There is money to be made ffsake.
Just not with pips at the moment.

    To OUR success

    Default Response to responses

I have seen some criticisms by some who didn't read my post, and I have seen some praise by some who also didn't read my post. I guess I have failed in my attempt to communicate a message. So I'll try again.

First to the suggestion that I needed to be more informed before going to Nilai -- Good suggestion, but there is nowhere to get reliable information. There is no official PIPS Forum that is regularly updated (nor even online at the moment). And there is no official newsletter. That one person might have gotten a response to a message or email that was allegedly from Bryan Marsden hardly counts as official or reliable. This should have been communicated to all members of PIPS.
(As an example, the U.S. State Department issues travel warnings to all persons who are registered with the local embassy. They don't restrict communications only to a rare one or two who happen to ask a question.)

Nevertheless, I was aware of the current investigation, and, as I indicated in my post, I was aware that the staff may be on furlough. I expected that, even with the staff gone, if PIPS is still alive, at least a skeleton crew would still be in the office. And I think there was one. But I won't go into detail.

To the charge of my expecting too much from Bryan Marsden, this isn't the case. I was not expecting to see Bryan. I was expecting only to have a conversation with someone who worked there. I did not expect to gain any inside information that they don't share with all other members. I just wanted to meet someone at PIPS / PICPAY -- to be friendly, that's all. If I had met Bryan, it would have been nice, too, but I was not expecting to occupy his time.

The setting at the Bistro should have been encouraging. They were open. They were making a sign for the special menu of the day. They had signs advertising live entertainment, and open 24 hours. There were at least 3 persons working there, and the restaurant was also open. The workers were idol, for the most part, at the time we were there, as there were no other guests. Had I been in charge of the operation I would have trained and instructed the staff to be friendly and hospitable to all guests and particularly to those who are interested in the business, whether they were friends or enemies.

We were treated like unwanted pests. And my wife was genuinely frightened to be there. The behavior of the staff at the Bistro reflects the character of their boss, and I came away completely disillusioned with him.

Here's another criticism of me that escapes the message I was trying to convey:

"perhaps you should listen to something that teaches you about being compassionate and understanding, something that will teach you about empathy...you know, that often forgotten concept where you try to put yourself in the other person's shoes and consider things from his perspective rather than pass judgement??"

In the present context, this is a recipe for failure.
When thousands of people, myself included, are facing losses amounting to hundreds of thousands of dollars, I don't need to overdo compassion and understanding for Bryan's and his problems. I can more readily empathize with those people who have trusted Bryan and are now losing hope and watching their dreams fall apart, not to mention their lives.

That's what I was trying to say in the first message. PIPS is what PIPS is and for the time being, it isn't anything but speculation. We all need to move to more secure things and stop waiting for PIPS to come back. The current situation at PIPS is no reason to give up hope for a better life, and greater income. If I were in Bryan's shoes, I would have the character to regularly update the people, and I would say something like the following:

"We're in trouble right now, but rest assured we're working to solve the problems. Meanwhile F--ORGET ME! Put me and PIPS on the back burner and get on with your life. You'll be a lot better off when you have other streams of income. Don't rely on just one, especially not this one - not for now anyway. When PIPS comes back, you'll know it. I'll keep you updated. " That's what a responsible leader should say.

To those who sent a private message, thank you.
Some have asked me for URLS for other programs. I am very sorry but I will not use this forum to promote another program. I will try to help thoese who have asked though. Just understand that I am not an internet guru, and I have only begun to win after a long history of losses. I really fear that what works for me now may not work for some of you later. But I will try to help, you'll see.

    Take care, all.
    Jerry

I dare to differ you on just that aspect as quoted above by you. You will, probably as a CEO, say somewhat similar but far from sounding defeated. In this quote, you "presumed" defeat and despair despite forewarning with encouraging advise to look elsewhere. There is NO DEFEAT nor is a LOST cause here... In business, esp. when within a competitive and vicious market, the timeline for profit making is usually termed to start after a good 3-5 years of struggle and maintaining a valid existence while putting up a thick-face with confidence among the other peers striking hard in the same industry.

If anyone needs to get the rough picture spelled out, it'll be the shareholders in the first row and way before the media gets to know about it.

I'm glad you both left the Bistro without any food poisoning....thats a relief cos I hate the media to speculate a worser scenario at any given opportunity.

    Default Trip to Nilai

I've said this several times on this forum, but will say it once more. If Bryan is a crook, he is certainly the dumbest one I've ever seen. Most crooks take you for a ride and then leave you stranded in the desert. They disappear into the woodwork and you never see or hear from them again. Bryan has not done that. He has hung in there through many a stormy battle. I still think he will be able to get this thing off the ground again just because he has not given up.

Incidenatally, I'm a Pioneer. Came in from the GW days.

    Hi hzchoice,

Excuse my ignorance here, but isn't this just what has hapenned here?

I'm a born optimist and still think that PIPS will be back, but hold on - from where have you heard that Bryan is still around, and has not given up? Maybe someone new is taking over?
