    hmmmm I wonder.

I cannot for the life of me work out why the sites would appear briefly and intermitantly if there were not some positive progress?

I am no IT person, far from it. If the websites aren't coming back up soon though, why would we seeing the sites every now and again?

    Anyone got any ideas?

Nelson has asked us not to log in to the old sites as of yet as this will disrupt IT's work, hopefully the site will be up and running on Wednesday.

SO does this mean that they did not get the servers back -- they are actually downloading the data from the servers at BoM to new servers at PiPs offices ??

If this is what's going on I can see why the servers would be working at very high capacity for 3 to 5 days to get all that data transferred.

If this is the case then, definately we need to stay off the severs, because they have to be online in order to get this info from BoM, and so everytime that someone tries to log in this will take bandwidth away from the downloading in progress --- SO STAY OFF THE SERVERS ------!!!!!!!

This would also make sense : since all the businesses are not released, then BoM probably would not give the servers back, but they could release the data for the Businesses that were fould to be clean --- since there would be multiple pages on the servers, then IT would be able to copy those Businesses that were released to new servers at PIPS offices and as soon as all was copied , then they would go back on line.

What we saw last friday when the sites were up : was IT creating the links of all the sites that could be copied while they built a cron to do the copy, Since the servers had to be on line to do this they were actually up while this was being done. --- now this maks more sense to me as to why the sites were up and then went away and now the servers are busy and they don't want to slow them down be members trying to log in and using up the bandwidth.

it's always the same deal when they go offline they need time to get all the bugs out and running smooth so chill :D

Agreed...When the servers go on-line everyone will be looking for a CEO update and when we will be able to make a withdraw from our LOAN !!!

Bottom-line this is the update were looking for...
