But the case is primarily addressing the charges brought up against the Marsdens for inappropriately acting and perhaps illegally operating without a recognized /registered License issued by the Malaysian Authorities.

From thereon, we shall see what else is further uncovered....no need to speculate at this point, just be patient and we will know sooner or later...

In the meantime, what the Marsdens are facing on trial will be the basis of more to come....bet on that...it's FAR from OVER!!!

I think it's a bit more than just "my view". I have simply rephrased the official charges without distorting them.

I feel Owen's point "The Malaysian government has no interest in Pips or its members." cannot be repeated often enough. This is the starting point of this trial and should be a guideline for everyone's expectation level.

I know it's been said by many and I have to add that my family's life would have been much, much nicer with the PIPS dream. Instead the dream turned to a court room drama. And all the hush-hush not to talk about the case has left so many questions dangling without any answers. I do not have an opinion about the Marsdens as was said the charges have to do with moving financials not actually the PIPS program, but do hope that some type of closure comes so answers can be made. Once court is finished Mr. Marsden should be able to openly make discussion. It has been way too long for anyone to wait for court time.

Let's recap just what BM and Sharon have been charged with and this trial is about.

You have the majority of the charges (41) each for money laundering.

You have BM and Sharon charged with 7 additional accounts of illegal deposit taking.

Last you have 9 more charges against BM for withdrawals from illegal activities.

None of these have anything to do with the world-wide PIPS being legal, or involving the world-wide deposits from the members outside Malaysia.

This trial is about PIPS being legal in Malaysia, if BM and Sharon are guilty of diverting funds to their personal bank accounts (money laundering) and those funds came from illegal activities which were deposited into their personal bank accounts; and then PIPS not being properly licensed in Malaysia, withdrawals from illegal activities.

This trial has nothing to do with what kind of investments PIPS was using, didn't use or was going to use. This is about Malaysia, and Malaysia only. The Malaysian SEC has already stated and declared that PIPS was a Pyramid/Ponzi Scheme in Malaysia. The SEC of other countries, or their equivalent, have said that PIPS was a Pyramid/Ponzi Scheme in their countries as well. It does not take a court to state this for it to be true, much to the chagrin of those that try to make this claim.

What will be interesting from this trial is to see just what the various banks that were involved with PIPS have to say as to why they shut down PIPS accounts. To me, this will be the most telling of anything else that will happen in this trial. This trial will hinge on what these banks have to say and can prove.

We know that BNM did not confiscate Billions of dollars, as PIPS would have had to have in order to meet the 2% per day guaranteed trading returns. Now if they didn't confiscate them, and they exist, that leads to where are they and why these funds aren't listed in PIPS name? These questions will not be answered in this trial.

Mr. Dome was right when he said what this trial will be about, as well as Owen. If you expect anything more you are setting yourself up for a major disappointment.
