And he may want to take that into consideration. I have heard from 13 former BTI members so far, who have retained an attorney to investigate the "term" lifetime memberships, and therefore finding that Billy and BTI are in breach of contract.
I signed up & paid $200 for myself and my wife in 11/04. The reason I purchased this membership because it was stated by IB that this would be a lifetime membership and because of all the group membership benefits such as group health, medical and life insurance. It was my understanding that this membership that I paid for was a lifetime membership. I don't care if IB changed the group name? He is retaining the same membership & benefiting at the expense of pips membership that is actually pips property. Even though IB has changed the name of the group, our membership should be transferable and grandfathered because we paid for a lifetime membership... and in my case I paid for 2 memberships!

By locking us out of his BTI group IB is in default of the lifetime membership that I paid for!

How can I join the group that have retained an attorney?

While it is understandable that he didn't get paid out as a merchant from PicPay, he still needs to honor his word.

When GW was closing down and giving rebirth to PureInvestor/PIPS, while it was like taking a "loss" on himself, he still gave Full New Accounts to all of his previous members. That is truly holding up your end of the bargain and honoring your members.

Just because things fell through on Billy, doesn't mean he shouldn't have to keep his word to his former members.

nuff said, everybody learns the hard way, and he will too.

If Billy loses most of the membership in BTI, I would think he will be of little use to whoever he might be in league with. Without a large membership at his disposal he has nothing to bring to the table except his brilliant mind. (sarcasm)

Billy runs a small employment agency in the Chicago area, it wouldn't take a lot of investigation to find out which one. Let's all go in and apply for a job. :)

Someone mentioned Brian Garvin. I knew of him when I got involved with an MLM program called "The Big Dogs". He's a succesful marketer. Don't know if that makes him guilty of taking advantage of anyone as in my mind, that's how MLM works - if you can build a downline - and keep them (since attrition is horrible in MLM) then you make money, i.e. successful marketing.

The Big Dogs is still a viable program - as in - the company still exists.

Just an FYI for most of you Thumper is also a person who beleives in payplex. this was long before Billy ever brought it up. I respect Thumper as well as Billy so those of you who think these are loser programs are welcome to have their opinion but just stop repeating rumors you hear about other people.

Flyer, I don't agree with you on a lot of things, but I have to agree with you on this.

The fact that Billy seems to have taken most of us by the nose does not mean that everything he has proposed is bad. I have been a PlexPay member for quite a while now and I have nothing but good to say about it. I realise this is not the right spot to advertise but it would be wrong to see a good program which has been set up by good people who have accounts in Pips as well, being neglected and put down because of the messenger. If you like to know more you can pm me. (Not meant as an advertisement)

On another subject, has anyone checked out the TG connection yet?

Just a quick thought, for those ex- BTI members who will not be renewing their membership. I noticed you can still update your profile to that site. So I changed my name, address, e-mail addy etc. So that my data and personal info would not be compromised by Billy and the Boys.
    Just a precaution.
