drgibble, while I understand your frustration with all things PIPS and the actions of BM, you are simply being unfair to thebat.

Most people would say, imho, that having an eye witness at the trial is definitely more than "nothing".
However, nobody has claimed that it will make the Malaysian authorities compensate us.
If I ever advocate "moving on", it is moving on from the idea we could get a refund out of this.

Although I don't see the point in responding. If you think doing this is a way of getting a free trip shows your state of mind.

Secondly, we (Rolclub) has never insinuated or suggested or hinted in anyway PIPS would rise from this mess. Please get your facts straight.

Please think carefully about what you're going to say instead of unfounded accusations and innuendoes.

Good post. As I have said in the past, a refund is unlikely based on my experience from such programs but there is always hope depending on the facts. Thanks bat for reporting what you see and hear.

Yes they were very much potential initiatives that could certainly make if the "real money" was and be given the ability to materialize eventually but... we all were somewhat dismayed by the outcome which is again, owed to many factors and my pillar of undivided support still remains with Paddy, he stood there and still has...off-line till this day...

The last potential may somewhat evolve but with a new sleeve but on that, I shall still reserve disclosure just yet, its been and is still in developing stages and it now involves "real money, real property, real projects and existing resorts" with brick and mortar company's and successful Developers specialized in this sector of the Entertainment and Travel to Investment Industry. I will reveal more very soon as I mentioned earlier several days ago as part of my own birthday recognition celebrated in Asia,

I am just back but there are so many issues welcoming our homecoming like discovering, almost 900 euros of deepfreeze and refrigerated foods all turned YUCKY... due to an accidental swtching ff of one of the power groups...aaaaarghhhh!!!...had just about minutes to go before the day's closing where our dog was to be collected from her hotel and we missed by 3 minutes being late after closing time to collect our bird...anpther aaarghhh!!!:

On this refund bit, my take is.... I won't call it nor regard it as a refund.... ask yourself, what refund??? No good Money back kinda game you lend your money on???

I'm now onto the GINS case as well and on that, I will be bringing out my review on the latest development I came across while in Singapore with the Dept itself that is responsible on that case held in Singapore. It is quite close in similarity to the trial of the Marsdens but far less complicated however, when referring to the "monies" lenders were scammed on... the bulk of the seized amount would soon be "DISBURSED" to the rightful owners less the transfer and minimal administrative costs incurred by the Legal arm managing it.

So, as I understand it, refund is not the appropriate term to describe it, more a Disbursement of whatever amount that were recovered and is currently in safe protection and custody until it is ready to return to their rightful owners.... with the Singapore case... you BET it is coming your way...provided you are on that list.

I will also mail out to the membership on this announcement...so hang on in there and if you know others who were affected by GINS, please inform them about this latest Development.

Got to go... but I'm glad to be back but sad and missed the terrific time in Asia.... and I'm going back again pretty soon in the Fall for more awaits me there...

I just have to wonder, about all these new "great investment" opportunities being offered at RC. As I recall many. many previous ones just did'nt seem to pan out, what with administrative snafu's, and unfortunate money exchanger snafus.


Can anyone offer proof about any one "investment" that they made, that actually paid off? Of course, this is not a question for RC mods, just for the plain and simple "investor" of such programs.

It would be nice to know if any "non-involved investor" ever made a nickel out of any of the proclaimed "investments".
