Carlene,
You absolutely should not encourage anyone to join PxPS at this time!!! PxPS has not been able to pay the backlog of withdrawal requests for 8 months, and we see no indication that this is going to change in the near future. You would be telling your friends to put money into a system that could not pay them back for months or years, if ever.
The fact that we are talking about a restructure of PIPS means that the old program is on such shaky ground financially that there is going to have to be a major overhaul just to make it a viable option again. Wait and see what the future holds. But until the Bank of Negara releases the computers, and until the restructuing plan is complete I most certainly would not put any money into it.
Consider what you can do with money in your hand. You can spend it. You can put it in the bank and let it draw interest. You can get $450 worth of $1 bills, throw them on the bed and roll around in it. You can give it to a friend and they can spend it. There's all sorts of things that you can do with real money.
Now, what can you do with PxcPxy? Uhhhmmm......................... Well you can uhhhmm...................... Actually there isn't anything you can do with PxcPxy. You can't spend it. You can't invest it. You can't roll around in it. You can't give it as a gift. You can't do anything with it. Will that change in the future? Maybe. But until it does, keep the money you can spend instead of investing it in something you can't spend, can't touch, and can't use.
