Hello Gaz. i have been one of those who originally supported the Bat but due to losing most of my funds originnally could not afford to invest any further Funds. i believe it belongs to everybody who invested and would love to see some of the 200 k that i invested returned. and for yogi, it is disappointing that we all start fighting over funds that the only person to blame for all this is BM. he took our funds filled our heads with bullshit and enjoyed some wonderful times on our money until he got caught. If this man can do with the fx what he said he can do he should pay all funds back now he is free. otherwise he may have been better to stay in prison as someone will find him.

I am one on the sidelines. I wish I had had the cash available to assist and the internet access to keep up with e goins on with pips. I also hope those who get money back enjoy it.

It's been a while since I posted on here, but as the situation is now done and dusted I thought I'd say something.

Firstly, I (and all of us) should extend a huge amount of gratitude to my friends Batty and Yogi, for their tireless dedication to covering the trial, raising the funds to do so, and putting themselves and their family at massive inconvenience on behalf of the ROLClub members. Batty, if I ever find myself back in Malaysia, I will be making my way up to buy you a drink.

Secondly, I would like to express my hope that those of you who are pursuing court claims do recover some of your money. I myself decided not to bother. I did lose, but it was worth paying for the lesson learnt. And it must be said that whilst PIPS was in full swing - those were good times. I have never seen such hope, optimisim and general fun on the internet since! Dreaming of riches, playing with the simulator spreadsheets, waiting for a withdrawal... I was lucky I got some of my money back out, but only because I had a friend in KL with a Malaysian bank account who received the money for me and sent it on.

Thirdly it must be admitted the doubters were correct. Some of you may remember Owen Platt. It has been some time since I had any communication with him, but I heard he was suffering with cancer and undergoing Chemotherapy. I don't know of his current situation and Google is not turning up anything recent of use.

I havent been posting here either for a very long time. I would like to say the same for the first part, those guys were fantastic, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Unfor tunately I have been unemployed a couple of times in between, did not have any money to send, but their effort was fantastic.

I have decided that I will not pursue either for the return of my money, it will cost too much, and some authorities will always do their best to keep what hey can, if there is something left to keep...

Yes, I would also like to know what happened to Owen Platt, he did warn us all, and was heavily criticised for that. I hope that some of these people have learned to accept that some other people sometimes are right, and instead of criticising in such rude manner as they did, to listen with respect.

BM back in the UK? Hummm...He wont start anew that fast, maybe in a couple of years when people have forgotten who he is. Best is to keep an eye open, and go after him with the local authorities. After Golden Womb (I think that is what his first scheme was called) he wont dare to do anything there. I hope he tries in China, his prison stay there would be memorable :)

We were informed when TheBat needed money... we've given (I did what I could... not much...)

I think the least would have to send members and mostly donors a notice at the time we had to add our names to the list, not after the game is over!

I am not sure but I kind of remember there has been a form to fill very long time ago? If yes, I did... is that claim taken into account or just the intimate group of december 09?

Sorry I did not follow the forum, yes it's my fault but have to say that rolclub's email address as well as Marek's have been spoofed to spam for many scams discouraging me to visit this forum... anyway having lost much and just enough to afford my life, I wouldn't invest anything anymore now.

Your best hope is to seek and determine the true whereabouts of Bryan Marsden while his last and recent residence after release from prison and his flight out of Malaysia, is in the UK.

Succeeding at that, you may have MANY people who may team up with you in indicting him from thereon under British Law and serving him with your claim(s) with others that teamed up with you.

Those that are now listed as Claimants for the Malaysian monies being held there, may again seek claim from any UK indictment of BM in the UK... there is that possibility resuming again...
If he is next spotted in Australia or New Zealand or even in the Bahamas, anyone may succeed to have a warrant to arrest him and pursue one's claim in the respective country.... should it be found that there are monies lingering about that is tied to him as illegally/fraudulantly obtained and managed from your loan to him.

I "only" lost the original thousand dollars i invested as i got in on the tale end....thank God for that....i could tell soon after that something was amiss...and that this was some kind of ponzai scheme...what amazed me the most,and still does to this day,is that there were so many pips members defending him....and probably still have some to this day that think he was legit....at least i get some "VINDICATION" from being right.....small consolation...but ,one,none the less....as far as i am concerned this is closure for me...Bryan will get his due if he is in Britain...Pat
