Sure is true that some members reversed their opinions based on false advertisement but much bigger number still think that charges mean nothing until proved guilty.

Final judge verdict is to follow not some one out there with fiction ideas and assumptions.

    Default Privacy Rights Army

It seems the transfers were made from the Pips account which was,of course, primarily investors money, especially in the case of Picpay.
These charges relate only to the Marsdens and their transfers of money into their personal accounts, a suspected fraudulent conversion.
As for the investigation into Pips, this is clearly ongoing as witness the request from Bank Negara for Australian members to attend for an interview.
    Exactly,

Money laundering is easy to prove since BN took a full year to compile accurate records of all money movement, so it is obvious they have him dead to rights on the easiest charge to stick, and with almost a 100, that is more than enough to put Marsden's away for life, and that is the bottom line. Overwhelming proof, and even if a few were to be not proven, there is more than enough that will. This is about as slam dunk of a case as I have heard, so with up to 5 years on each, I can't wait to attend trial. (g)

    Good luck to all, MIke

I wholeheartedly agree with "innocent until proven guilty".But those who make light of these money laundering charges should think twice.

Each hearing has produced more charges.Investigations have now started in Australia too.Watch out for more news on 24th of November mention.

Bank Negara have all the records and after a years investigation it would appear they are far from finished yet.

    Chin-lee & all,

Money Laundering is probably an easier charge to bring. After a year of investigating they would need to show some progress. These are the simplest charges to prove - all they need to do is show bank records - and so they will do these first.

If he gets sent down for a long time on these charges they may decide to just wrap up the investigation because justice will have been done. If he gets off lightly they could continue the investigation and charge him with other things like fraud and obtaining money by deception whilst he is in jail. These charges are harder because the intent has to be proved also.

Yes, and his mistake was ripping me off!! For that he should be found in prison with a dull object shoved up his a$$!! I will shed no tears for him or his old lady. I hope they get the max.

Reading another person's voluntary exposure is giving me the thought....

Should I enjoy his/her daily routine and lifestyle? I'm not a particularly nosy person and didn't delve further with yours but felt amused by your earlier suggestion on the role for a MODerator even if it was a slip of yr mind (or tongue???) while trying to unblock the temptation as I read through your blog...

Left my thoughts behind, amusing, yet I didn't pursue further...just didn't think I need to read how life circles about in another person's world.

Just being me, conservative I guess at privacy issues and resisting comparisons to mine which can be intrigueing but I'd rather keep that out of sight until I someday decide to unblog it for the wide public...
