Thread: ROLCLUB has to charge 25Usd/year to cover its expenses!read!

Just a thought here ....

First it seems inevitable that a payment from members is going to have to be paid. For all the debate about it and suggestions the bottom line is that expenses have to be paid, quickly, and admin is not prepared to keep footing the bill (understandable).

So, if we bow to the inevitable is there a way to provide members with an incentive to pay?

If the break even number is a given (it should be known) maybe admin can use any surplus in a program for the benefit of the members?

Maybe a program like PlexPay? That way the small investment could be recovered reasonably quickly, and everyone is happy. If for any reason it should fail no big deal really as we've only paid $25 or whatever other amount is decided upon.

Atleast i showed the members here what problem we are facing, and dont promote scam programs on our site, that indirectly scams your own members!

I belive i have been open with my members about our problems, and dont do stuff to indirectly advertise programs that turn out to be a scam!

I dont hold a gun to anyone's head and say they have to pay! I am just telling all open and honestly that we have a bandwith problem!

And dont wish to promote scam ads to lure people into new programs !!!!

Now, trolls can say what ever they wish, but you chillibilly need to get a life! I have banned this guy many times, but he seems to keep comming back and throwing crap all the time. I would love to have his 25 USD, or get rid off him :-) LOL i prefer the 2nd option! .

Charging a fee of 25 Usd will also reduce trolls on our site, i believe! :-)

and some other payment processors aswell. When most of our users know about this, and have had the possibility during this week to note this, we will start charging! Not before. I will let all know when and where.

I find this a bit confusing, since Sept 1, BTI started charging for their membership, and this is one of the only other forums availabe for posting and information regarding PIPS.

BTI HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH US! WE RUN INDEPENDENTLY! I WON'T COMENT ON BTI !! We have our server problems to take care off, and not all the BTI talk!!!! If you have an complain about them, i suggest you contact BTI forum admin, and not blame ROLCLUB for what you think, blabla bla bla bla bla! I condsider that neither normal, and rude!

So to charge a membership fee, I don't know about that....especially without know who is behind this administration and who controls the servers and who is pushing the strings...this is actually mirroring what we just experienced in BTI.....sounds more to me like someone is trying to make a few fast bucks at the expense of members...isn't that what PIPS USA was doing ????

Hey thanks for all your effort and expenses paid out. I have never been much to get on forums and post until this one. (I was invited by e mail I believe) I am not sure whether I would get on a pay forum or not but I can understand you not wanting to foot the cost and maybe even make some $ as well. $25 is not a lot of money but the info on here is not going to determine whether PxPx and Pxc pxy start back up or not. It is going to depend on the main site coming up and BM posting to get to the truth about what to expect. If all or a good portion of posts here are read, even though some are deleted. it weaves quite a confusing web of information, most of which is speculation as far as I can tell. Correct me if I am wrong. If you go this route, I hope it cleans up a lot of the crap that currently has to be waded through to get to good information. I don't mind chitchat, its the lies , distortions and confusing speculation I could do without. I may even pay for a site that is a bit more beneficial and has less domineering moderators who can delete and censor people if they disagree with them. I don't want to pay, only to get an "I ban thee" for not holding the party line or straying off topic in an already meandering discussion. As I now am doing, so I'll stop. Paypal is preferred

I understand. We will try to keep moderators from deleting, but as it is today, i believe that they do a good Job! There are such things posted on our forum that would not stand a chance in any forum (except one :-) )
We do not wish to delete any thing that is a fact or said in normal manners. I think, by having a small fee-> clean up on lots of stuff that’s posted, by it self(less trolls), and also meaning lesser interference from rolclub team of mods and admins!
