By theway, hitting the refresh is something i believe you say because of your have BTI in mind! I hate to remind you again, We have our own problems, like need of a dedictaed server. Our hosting provider has told us to find something fast! I do understand your view's, but hope you keep an open mind and understand my view!.

I think that azmia raises at least one good point (she usually has a lot of good points, but for this post I'll stick with one) If we are sending you (admin) money, we should at least know something about the people we're doing business with. A name, contact info, a mailing address. I don't believe that wanting to know "who" you're sending money to is an unreasonable request.

However if revealing your identity is just "crazy talk". Perhaps another solution is to limit membership. If the membership has grown too large to manage (or afford) then simply don't let anyone else join.

Yes, I agree with azmia that it would be nice to know who we are doing business with here at ROL. However, I am a little surprised at azmia's judgemental attitude with this forum when she is a moderator over at BTI.
Bryan said no forums, but right now I think this is one of the only Pro Pips
forums around. You can't tell me that Bryan is happy with the direction BTI has gone. Azmia, you have so many great posts and you are probably one of the fairest mods over at BTI. I have a hard time understanding the thoughts behind your recent post.

As for the $25 a year membership. It's a bargain! I get a kick out of all the people in here posting how PIPs should be run. We are all big businessmen, armchair CEO's, but we don't want to pay $25 for a key source of information regarding our investment/loan. In my business and investment life, I spend thousands of dollars for various newsletters, subscriptions, trade magazines, forums, software, website memberships etc. to stay informed. Knowledge is power. If you want to be on top of your game, you pay the price to be informed. I am actually surprised that it's a subject for debate.

Given the light of what is going on right now, you are asking money from PIPsters in the guise of keeping this forum running, when Bryan came out and posted NOT to start another forum. You can call this forum anything that you would like, but as long as the main interest is PIPS which we know it is, you are going against Bryan.


I find this a bit confusing, since Sept 1, BTI started charging for their membership, and this is one of the only other forums availabe for posting and information regarding PIPS.


So to charge a membership fee, I don't know about that....especially without know who is behind this administration and who controls the servers and who is pushing the strings...this is actually mirroring what we just experienced in BTI.....sounds more to me like someone is trying to make a few fast bucks at the expense of members...isn't that what PIPS USA was doing ????

I hope, more of you will come to understand, ROLclub is at a turning point of its performance to accredit itself with reliable members seeking a good cause and deserve a credible platform to voice eloquently on issues, albeit PIPS or otherwise. Please consider the move for the yearly subscription as inevitable and worthy and as for the amount, $25 is NOT an amount that a visit to Pizzahut will eat you up easily as opposed to ROLclub being your eager hub to come back at anytime of the day just to talk and exchange with fellow members.... ain't that wonderful, the whole year long??? :lol: :lol:
