Thank you for taking the time to answer me. I figure i may have to go into New York City to do the exchange - perhaps to the NON-Federal Reserve! LOL
I will continue in my quest for answers, i am looking for the De la Rue machine, i would prefer that it is on site rather than leave my money with anyone. i got mine form SafeDinar. And someone One of the moderators I believe, said that they had theirs checked on the machine and that it was good.

Actually I was the one who checked the dinars with the machine. Their legit.

I'm in Western New York...I opened an account with HSBC Bank...because they are one of the largest and also International. I called and asked if they would be buying the Iraqi Dinar when it became exchangeable and they said yes. Also there is NO FEE if you have an account through them.

Another one is Bank of America...same as HSBC above...when the reval happens, we need to call ahead and ask what the exchange rate is for the different banks. One may say $1.10:1 dinar and another may say $1.13:1dinar...the better deal is OBVIOUSLY the $1.13:1, BUT with all the excitement people my just "JUMP" at the first bank they come to.

It will be better to pay a $10.00 exchange FEE and get the $1.13 rate and make THOUSANDS more, rather than say "Well I didn't have to pay a fee at all!" That extra 3 cents exchange difference would mean $30 thousand dollars! ......Lemme see....$10 fee...$30 Grand! Ohhh Yeah! I know which one I'm goin' for! lol!

OK - My head is spinning. I cannot work anything out. Where I live it is 12 noon on Tuesday the 1st August. What time and date is it in Iraqi. At least I have something to take my mind off all this as my son is in Lebanon and was in the convoy that was attacked on Sat. (media).

OH! Almost forgot! I would NEVERNEVERNEVER let my Dinars out of my site. TOOOOO much money at stake to be told I had "miscounted" or a couple weren't "real"!

Plus I'm taking my little UV penlight with me to show the little glowing box on EVERY one of my stinky little notes!
