I got an email from them today with the same quote HMMMMMMMMM!!!Wonder whats up! I'm so ready for this thing to kick off!

to sell dinar you have to buy dollars the rate determines how many US/IQD youend up with at the end of the day

Funny how there is supposedly a high demand for the dollar yet the value of the dinar keeps creeping up in the auctions. High demand usually would indicate a higher value for the dollar, yet the dinar is value is creeping up versus the dollar, not going down. Yes I know its small, but it is still going up when they say the dollar is in demand versus the dinar... Something isn't making sense here????


It has ben posted on here so many times in the last two months. Read the CBI site more carefully and you will see that they are selling USD, They are buying Dinar from their banks.

Uh.... Not quite sure what you think I was saying, but I AM SAYING THAT THE CBI IS BUYING DINAR FROM THEIR BANKS. Maybe you should take a second to read what I am saying before responding that I should read up on something....

The point of my post was to note the large difference in dinar bought by the CBI versus the amount returned from the CBI to the local banks. The amounts have increased significantly. It appears that the gap between the dinar being brought back to the CBI and the amount going out is large also. So, in that regard I was commenting on the volume change being large.

Secondly, I was commenting on the fact that the value of the dollar has decreased (although not large) steadily versus the dinar. If the local banks are demanding more dollars (in demand) and returning dinar to the CBI for dollars then the value of the dollar should be increasing as it is in demand by the local economy (i.e. more dinars for your dollar as in 1472:1, but instead the dollar value has gone down to 1466:1)... As the dollar has not increased in value versus the increase in demand, it appears that something is odd (opposite to basic economics of supply and demand).

Hope that clarifies my statement.

Work has become progressivly more difficult the past two weeks. Everyday when I read what is going on over there it makes getting up, not seeing the RV and having to go to work even more difficult.
