Anyone, feel free to add to it. With so many meetings going on, we need to know where we're at.....


1. October 15th. 3 year anniversery of the New Iraqi Dinar.
2. October 19th. Religious leaders meet in Mecca to endorse a call for an end to all sectarian bloodshed
3. October 24th. End of Ramadan.
4. October 30-31. IAMB meeting. (Article V111 done and dusted?)
5. End of October. ICBG to launch by end of October.
6. FIL passed 10 October, we were told it would take a month to be officially enacted, so we're looking at around 7/11 for announcement in the Gazette.
7. Saddam verdict 5/11.
8. Week beginning 5 November, distribution of ration cards........
9. Rumour of BoA selling dinars from 13/11, we were told they'd only be dealing with dinars once it was 'trading' internationally........
10. EU Trade signing 20/11.
11. End of November. International Compact for Iraq signed, sealed and delivered, or was it signed 31/10??????? Hopefully debt forgiveness by Saudi and Kuwait as well.
12. December ?. DFI is turned over to the GOI.
13. December 31 end of year 1345 IQD to 1 USD CBI/IMF projection achieved.
14. Jan 1st. Beginning of a new fiscal year.
15. March 22, 2007. Iraq's IMF Stand-By Arrangement expires
16. 2008. Iraq begins making large IMF fund payments.

It will most likely be everything we have been waiting for. With all the information we have been getting they have definately been getting all their ducks in a row. I think the package is going to BLOW everyone away!

The Iraqi's have a lot to prove to the world and want to take their place internationally. I bet they have HUGE oil contracts on the table ready to go once this hits. All the laws necessary, banks in place, and the 10,000 for the people will be a major show of good will to jump start a unified Iraqi as well as the economy. The oil belongs to the people and that will heal many deep wounds.

All this will help the elections and be Bushs' payback just in time. It will also take the focus off of Sadam, and everyone saying they are no better off now then under his regime. I think we will see a high reval (1.47 or better) that will be sustainable with international open trade beginning. The Iraqi's are proud people and want very much to pull themselves out of this mess.

This is, of course, MHO from all I have been reading and sensing. All the meetings with GWB and Condi, etc. They have been focusing on the economic package and once that is off the ground watch how fast they go after the militias.
