Just saw this page, I don't know how old it is, what do you guys think about it?

I've been following everyone's posts for some time now and I have valued your expertise and wisdom. I have been checking with Bank of America, UMB and M & I Banks in Kansas City and hoping for some news of an exchange. Today, Bank of America said they are not exchanging IQD. UMB will do an exchange but they don't know the rate. M & I will exchange. This is new. As of Friday, 27 Oct., M & I didn't know anything about IQD.

A couple of weeks ago I visited our local ASBH and enquired about buying or exchanging the NIDs. They didn't know what I was talking about. They said to bring in the notes in and they would match it with their currency listing book. They said if it's listed they can do it. So I did.

The teller brings a book to the counter and as she opens it up I notice BoA on the front cover. As she is scaning the pages to find the NID I asked her when this particular guide was printed and she replied, "it's an old one from 2004." I figured it would'nt be in there, but there it was.

If a local bank like ASBH has been dealing in the NID, there's a pretty good possibility that many other smaller banks across the nation have been dealing in the NID besides Chase and BoA.

Yeah theres no point buying from dealers anymore. i have been told by lots of banks and people that they can order it and most of the time you get it faster and cheaper also no chance of losses. And i would bet most of the dealers out there have got something set up with banks and just order it as it sells great way to make some cash

I saw a decent deal on Ebay. $790 per Mil. The only thing is, you gotta buy 100 Mil worth. cough, choke. I Wish!

I also saw this article some months ago and I brought it to the attention of one of the learned people on this forum and he assured me that it was very old and very not true. I trust this person totally.

at bank no risk or shipping

Does anyone else find it scary that there is this amount for sale or is it just me.

most dealers dont know anymore than us im sure they have there share stashed a way
